Jay Cooke State Park is a state park of Minnesota, United States, protecting the lower reaches of the Saint Louis River. The park is located about 10 miles southwest of Duluth and is one of the ten most visited state parks in Minnesota. The western half of the park contains part of a rocky, 13-mile gorge.

You must have exited the interstate at Esko. After you drive through the little town of Thompson when you reached the T in the road you turned left. There is a parking area right there on the right had side. There is a paved biking path that you can take to an old railroad bridge over the river. It is very pretty back in there and an old swimming hole that we used to go to in the summer months when I was in high school and college. The Swinging Bridge area at the end of your video has some great hiking trails. 👍😊

This is great because i don't get to drive in Minnesota ever. The tree lined highways are really well-maintained and relaxing to drive and watch. Do animals cross the roads there often?
