I'm only partway through your Halion 7 tutorial series but I really have to doff my cap at this point, your knowledge of this software is truly a spectacle and I just want to thank you for making this behemoth of an application more accessible. I shall consider your Patreon in future :)
Greetings- Big ups frum Beautiful Brazil This was thoroughly, calmly and at the right speaking pace explained! Big ups because though mi usually figure all kinds physical and virtual samplers, MI WAS COMPLETELY DUMBFOUNDED ON DI CONTROLS, DIFFERENT MODES AND FUNCTIONALITY IN HALION! Blessings ahn nuff RISPEK
I don't even have Halion 7 (yet...) but I've been following this series just for the many nuggets of wisdom applicable to other areas of music production. For example, that fixed pitch setting is in so many synths/samplers, but I hadn't considered how it could be useful - such as using midi notes to trigger modulation. Great tutorial!
What about Multisamples? Is there a way to load multiple samples from a Folder into Keyboard Zones. For example by the name? Piano.c3.wav, Piano.G3.wav or so?
So if you have Cubase 12 which has Halion SE 7 we can not bring in samples like you just did in this video, correct ? I do not see any videos online for us to bring in samples to play them on keyboard. Does this mean we have to purchase Halion 7 ? Thank You.
I think so. (I only use the full version so am not familiar with SE, but SE is by nature a "player" rather than fully fledged sampler, so that would make sense.)
