Excellent review, thank you! BTW, I typically use one instance of Halion Sonic for up to 16 instruments rather than separate instances of Halion Sonic for each sound. It's less taxing on the CPU.
Hi Steve. This was a reather interested little video. I enjoyed it very much. I got away from recording for a good while but, you gave me a few ideas that is going to make get back in to recording agin, very soon. I am going to check out your video on compression next. I know nothing about compression and don’t know how to use it. I am hoping that you will give me some good pointers in your video on the topic. Anyway thank you for helping us beginners. I wish you continued success with all of your future music videos and I also wish you continued success financially as well. Have a wonderful day.
I really enjoyed this video. It is well focussed and invites us to participate with I appreciate. It shows us useable process without weighing us down with technical waffle. Great stuff on your first video. Please keep them coming. Since subscribed
It is inspiring to watsh 😊 i was cubase user about 10 years ago, and i svitsh to studio one, put now i uptatet my artist 6 to artist 13, to try it out agen, put studio one do not go eny where ;)
Yeah I have both. Cubase is powerful and complicated. Great to hear from another DAW junkie. Unfortunately, I have GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) and have trouble when I see new shiny VSTs. LOL
I just bought cubase pro 13 and M-audio 61 I am clueless about all of it!! It might as well be written in vietnamese!! I write songs and play guitar... i want to record my music and " Bought the stuff" people said to...and I dont know anything about computers or anything of what it all means!! Can you please do a video to the total dummy?? HELP!!!
@@digitalsketchguy7844 I am watching videos to learn as far as cubase goes. My reference was to the keyboard by oxygen pro. I had bought a used model and looked around for a lil booklet and people told me just watch videos online ..... my bad !
@@digitalsketchguy7844 my cubase did not come with a manuel btw, it was download online, wich I did...and watching the older videos they have on site. Pro 13 has changed alot from what they show on their site.
Ive used cubase since Sx 3 all the way to Cb12 pro i just got bitwig 2 weeks ago and ill prob never open cubase ever again .. in the last 10 yrs it has failed to evolve and just doesnt keep up with other modern DAWs now imo from live and (M4L)now to bitwig . there is literally no features to keep me using cubase anymore over bitwig ..Looking at it now is so obvious...
This is one of the best I've seen yet. Please keep them coming. Loved this. 😁

More a loop than a song, but well done.

Yeah, I'm a Studio One user as well. But it's fun to pop over to Cubase every now and then and see whats up! :)

I'll do more beginner vids for sure, but check out dawjunkie.com for my most basic stuff.
Have you tried the Cubase manual? Most people can't be bothered to learn their software.

Yeah, I have a BItwig channel too, but I still like Cubase too. It's just whatever fits. Glad you found something you like!!
