The rewriting of history. Crystal SHOULD have won the makeover challenge. The only thing she won was the comedy challenge after being high for like 5 weeks straight.
Rupaul was high for giving Crystal the win and not putting Sherry in the bottom for that challenge.
It wasn't even a comedy challenge though, the homework was funny yes, but more intimate, personal, and they made a big deal of it... and then ignored that cause they weren't sending Jackie to the finals. Crystal was funny but didn't do the homework for that. He one win should've been that damn makeover.

Can I just say in regards to Monet/Denali lamp convo...I also was obsessed with lamps as a little boy, my dad used to take my to our local home hardware/Rona/Revy stores here in canada, and they had those huge aisles full of crystal chandeliers and all sorts of lighting and lamps and it looked like MAGIC to me,I would run off to them and spend all my time in those aisles until my dad was done getting whatever we needed, so the reference for me was so magical because it spoke to my nostalgia.

Agree, they were the same type of outfit to me. Like same party. It was glam and pretty but her whole butt was out and I'm still not sure what the actual outfit looked like. She also didn't have any funny moments for me in the challenge. Denali should've been top 3 based on the challenge AND runway.

The excuse to put Tamisha in the bottom was that she was "dead in the face" on the dance challenge (at literally just ONE moment).
And on this weeks lip sync Elliott's dancing was great BUT SHE WAS COMPLETELY DEAD IN THE FACE!

I never realised how similar Lala’s and Monet’s runs on the show are until Monet pointed it out. Both in the bottom for the first time for very bad Ball Challenge made-on-site looks, survived that episode with a killer lipsync, both in the bottom for a second time for the Bossy Rossy improv challenge and have to lipsync to a white female pop-country artist’s song for said episode, both had a third lipsync that was very close. (Vs Denali, vs Kameron), both had (I wouldn’t say bad, but compared to their competition, subpar) runways, and had loveable confessionals for their time on the show. Now if Lala wins Miss Congeniality and an All-Stars season, that’ll be spooky.
Also this is the second Season 10 queen with freakishly similar runs on the show to another queen, the other being Mayhem with Morgan McMichaels. Both won the first unconventional materials challenge, were safe for 2 more episodes, were in the bottom and survived, and were eliminated by a lip sync assassin in episode 5, returned to all stars and were in the bottom episode 1, and played a “strategic game” (Mayhem with voting Shea and alliance with India, Morgan openly saying she’d vote for the stronger competition)

Right. It’s not like every clinically depressed person is going around saying racist/transphobic things...
Problematic behaviour is often the result of one's own problems with themselves. As Elliott stated in the episode, she has problems with social interaction because of her history with clinical depression, and social ineptness naturally leads to questionable social behaviours that can range anywhere from being awkward and uncomfortable to being rude and problematic. Sometimes it's problems interacting with your peers in the workroom, and sometimes it's problems interacting with black people...
I'm not trying to white-knight for her or anything; just trying to answer your question the best I can.
i dont think monet was excusing it by any means- but a lot of problematic actions (and even racist behaviors) stem from mental illness. is it an excuse to act out? no, never ever. can it contribute to her actions? absolutely- pretty sure that was all she meant.
