the thing is, runways don’t really matter on drag race unless it’s to fit storyline purposes. a bad performance weighs down a good look much much more than a bad look does to a good performance (except when you’re alexis michelle and despite your amazing kardashian the rusical performance you don’t get the win)

Yeah drag race always changes it up for storyline reasons and to save people they're favoring. Same with group challenges, sometimes it's being judged by groups and sometimes it's not.

When Tamisha messed up slightly they zoomed in and made it a big moment. When Gottmik messed up 5 times they edited it to make it seem like it didn’t happen. Gottmik deserved to be in the bottom with kandy. Tamisha was only put in the bottom to finish the Kandy and Tamisha drama and stop Gottmik from going home in a lip sync.

She also did a genuine good job She really embodied the energy of disco with her movement as opposed to just doing the dancing When she came out my eyes were big!

I wonder if the competition was taking a toll on Tamisha and Ru noticed and they had a private conversation. It may explain why Tamisha's confession was timed to coincide with her elimination, to soften the blow in a sense. We know Ru has a soft spot for Queens who get injured or survive from an illness such as Cynthia Lee Fontaine and Eureka O'Hara and later will bring them back to the competition. And, for Tamisha to reference coming back to a future All Stars gives me hope that this was a silent agreement between the two of them. She deserves to compete with all of her full resources and compete on a level playing field.

My big problem with this season is that I have no idea how they are judging the balance between challenge and runway. I feel it should be who is best in the challenge and then the look is a tiebreaker. For me the runway is more of a showcase?

I agree with Bob I didn't vibe with the challenge format ..the transitions between the groups were off to me...Note: I loved the disco theme and the history aspect but everything was a bit cringey for me.

I wonder if the competition was taking a toll on Tamisha and Ru noticed and they had a private conversation. It may explain why Tamisha's confession was timed to coincide with her elimination, to soften the blow in a sense. We know Ru has a soft spot for Queens who get injured or survive from an illness such as Cynthia Lee Fontaine and Eureka O'Hara and later will bring them back to the competition. And, for Tamisha to reference coming back to a future All Stars gives me hope that this was a silent agreement between the two of them. She deserves to compete with all of her full resources and compete on a level playing field.

My big problem with this season is that I have no idea how they are judging the balance between challenge and runway. I feel it should be who is best in the challenge and then the look is a tiebreaker. For me the runway is more of a showcase?
