I always thought the 'secret identity' bit is just another jab at superhero tropes. Especially as this is making fun of DC superheroes and 'disguises' of people like Superman are just ridiculous as well. That's why it's even more non-sensical, inconsistent and ridiculous in this.
I'm a big fan of the comic and even I can’t see things comming half the time. Well, actually it's only one big reveal I did see comming, and that’s one late in season two.
Yeah that they can hide their real life without being recongnized is "illogical". but i think it would take away from their acting and the secenes if they have masks or alot of makeup. it makes more sense this way, you just have to accept it.
So far the only supe who's taken off their costume for normal clothes is Starlight. I find it reallly absurd that most don't take off their costume at the end of the day or for personal business. Take A-Train with popclaw for example. We'll see this at ridiculous levels.
Watching you grapple with Homelander's psychology is very relatable. An episode of The Boys isn't over until someone's insides go outside.

I like this explanation of it.
"Mmm-eeer-ugh"... You got that right.
I like how you try to figure things out before the show even explains them!🤣
Love. It. Just another day like in the Zyggy household yep!
yeah his name is billy butcher..isn't a nickname
Well, actually it is a nickname. It's William Butcher officially 😜
More shock than awe.

Jack Quade that plays Hughie is from actors family. Father Denis Quade and mother Meg Ryan, so yea he can act I guess.

You may be a little too OCD for this show.
