I used Golden fluid acrylics for this painting. It measures 16x24" and was painted on a fine weave canvas mounted to board. I used various brushes throughout this painting and mixed the paint with only water.

So beautiful. I’ve seen others paint by throwing a bunch of paint on and do general shapes of trees and such and some look good, but none I’ve seen do the fine detailed work that you do. It’s like a photograph. Amazing!

You are doing work that is so much like Thomas Kincaid. I mean that as a genuine compliment. Really great and with life and a story in every painting. I love watching you move around the canvas and make choices. Knowing that it's ok for me to change my mind makes me feel better as I work . EXACTLY what I was thinking!! I see elements of his work where Chuck uses a Kincaid-esque style as a complimentary element. This is where I also agree with you when you make it clear that you're not attacking or accusing Kincaid of stealing, rather you and I see this as a high compliment, if only do to the fact that Chuck has his own unique style which has Kincaid-esque elements which is to say that Chuck's work incorporates very bright fantasy like colors and shading techniques which adds an element of fantasy to his work, and as an oil artist I recognize and very much appreciate how Chuck's work incorporates a few different distinct styles which he's somehow managed to do the impossible and tie these elements together in the end, to where the completed paintings are incredibly vibrant and lively!

Oh my God! With each tutorial that I watch I think that the one I am watching is one of the most fantastic paintings that I have ever seen. And then you go above and beyond my expectations of your talent with yet another one. Hey Zama, Thank you glad you are liking the videos!!! So paintings like this are tough for me because it takes just about 100% of my focus to complete them. Perhaps sometime in the future I'll have a better way to show this style off, but for now I'm just uploading the time lapses

Thank you! I appreciate that a lot! No my degree is in wildlife biology, so the subject matter in my art is my true passion. So yes I am self taught. It takes at least 30+ hours for these types. Thanks again!

Do you find it easier to cover your canvas when using high flow paint as say the heavy body by Golden? Love your work!
Hi Wendy, Yes I think they cover better. I like thinner paints so the pigment load is much higher in the fluid acrylics compared to watering down or adding medium to heavy body paints. :) Thanks!

Chuck how do you get your colors so bright i use acrylic paint , is that the reason why? Your colors stylay the same while my colors are bright when wet and when dry it turns to a shady dark color plz answer me😫‼️‼️
