"Skinny jean pestilence"! I like it! Hope y'all start feelin better soon! 😃
LOL I like that.
I'm glad you're feeling better I sure hope you both get over it soon . Bless your hearts I think your ideal is a good thing. Help out other vendors and your customers
Many years ago my dad practiced strip grazing for our dairy herd. Very successful until the herd grew beyond capacity of grazing. From then on it was dry lot feeding hay. It is successful for you because you know the capacity of grazing to ratio of cattle you have. You have made it work. Good job. Marketing your product has just taken a giant leap forward with the addition of the trailer. Good job. I love it when I see a plan that has come together.
Thanks! We’ve been blessed
I love the farmers market meet-up and spreading the love to that community. I’ll be honest when I go to a farmers market I can’t help myself but pick up several items from different farmers. I’d be happy to get a Sheraton Park Farms souviner and a hand shake.
Just gonna say I wear boot leg jeans
That’s actually a great idea to promote others products and give a discount. Honestly I wish we had someone big in social media local to us do that. It’s hard for us and our social media to take off without paying someone. Word of mouth travels a lot. Shout outs, discounts, tags I’m all for. I try to do it as much as I can from things I buy or use and or colaborate with, sell to or even get ideas from.
I hope y’all get well soon! I love watching your videos!!😊
Good stuff !
One of my favorite channels. You guys are awesome. Love ya ❤
Peel some garlic, put it in honey and let it ferment. When you feel that getting sick feeling, eat a piece of garlic and like the honey off the wooden spoon...that kicks those germs' butts.
I enjoy your videos and the trailer is a game changer, and would be a game changer for me to shop there. I wouldn't buy meat from a cooler sitting outside, but a refrigerated trailer...oh yes I would. It's a great idea! Cheers to you starting a trend! (I hope!)
Prayers for the Lewis family's health. I agree to the garlic honey comment above. God's richest blessings to you both. 🙏
Thanks for the video Chuck
🙏 ❤❤❤❤❤to both of ya.
Thanks
Love your show. I sit and watch it for hours.
Great video thanks for sharing my friend
Great job love watching your videos. I don't have cows, but I'm learning a lot. And keep up the skinny jeans comments.
Sorry to hear that now both of you are getting sick.😮
Take lots of vitamin C guys.
Praying for you both. 🙏
Yarn stores do "yarn crawls" where each store features something different. Perhaps a farm products crawl...
Glad you are starting to feel a bit better. Sorry Saundra isn't feeling too well. Great news that you did well at the market. The new setup seems to be a hit. Gound beef is one of my staples. You can make so many different things with it.
It's good to hear that the markets are going well and that you're recovering but sorry to hear that SWMBO (She Who Must Be Obeyed) is feeling poorly. Some of her honey with hot lemon should help kill the "pestilence".
You need a "Skinny jean" exclusion zone around your farm ;-)
Absolutely love your shows. Wishing the Misses a Happy Mothers Day
That is a great idea!! You are helping promote your community and small business!! Y’all are a true inspiration to me and my farm!!!!
Please listen to your own advice, “Play it safe, be smart, don’t take too many risks, take calculated risks…”. Yes. Calculated risks. I’m learning to revisit my old thinking, now that I’m 75. Today you’re feeling better and making lots of plans, but lately you two are getting sick after seeing through the last plans. I’m recalculating what I need as wiggle room and haven’t found the sweet spot yet. I still expect the same results as yesterday’s efforts brought. The idea of calculated risks has become a moving target. Your video got me thinking about this. Take more “Saturday Naps.”❤ And all those people telling you how much they appreciate your videos…consider how much those of us at greater distances do! Thank you.
Good morning.
Hey there!
Glad to see you're feeling better but I am sorry to hear Saundra is getting it. I love your idea! You are showing your true colors as a good person upping the game of those other venders. And you have about got this frugal shopper looking for grass fed local beef. Can't wait to try it.
Looking forward to meeting y'all June 22 and think it's a great idea to highlight others at the Farmers Market. Pray you both are better soon.
Glad you are feeling better Chuck!
Thanks!!
Whatever you can do to encourage new people to shop at farmers markets is a good thing. We need to change shopping at a farmers market from a fun activity for a day out, to a habit. The food is much better and fresher and the local people to grow/raise it are supported.
Praying for yall
Regenerative farming is the healthiest for everyone involved! 😉
You sound better, Chuck! Hugs to Sondra! 🤗
Yes it is! Thanks!
Lifting you both up 🙏
Thank you
An idea for you.... As you have excess grazing land at this time of year, perhaps you could rent some of that land to another livestock farmer who shares your values. You folks would know the types of animals that would work for your land better than I would.
You sir are a speed talker! lol I can keep up though! Your land is just beautiful! Is that buzzing sound locusts?
chuck you could always do what just a few acres does. sometimes he will check out other stalls and you could do a quick interview or ask for an introduction. I'm assuming you are trying to get more business for the other vendors.
Glad to hear that the market yesterday was another success, most vendors there that I have seen, just finished eating some of y'all's steaks, boy they were good! Take care, see you in the coming weeks
I am guessing you do that intentionally just to mess with the minds of us skinny-jeaned, obsessive-compulsive types by leaving that step-in post on the floor where you dropped in the barn.
It is nice to see how much you have improved that soil already! Great job.
Nice job Chuck
🙏
👍
Makes me hungry thinking about the ground beef.
I don't own skinny jeans & I swear I've never been to Starbucks, but I'm a city gal & have an honest question about rotational grazing. What is the difference between 5 cows on fifty acres and 5 cows on ten acres for 5 days? Wouldn't the cows on the big field just eat the grass down & move on, letting the grass recover as they progressed? Obviously not, as your method suggests, but why? Love your channel & thank you for doing what you do.
From what I hear they are predicting a beef shortage we are at the lowest beef production in years nationwide.
those grazing spaces look a bit big to me, it gives the cow the chance to choose the best and leave the less desirable
Hey Chuck, I’m pretty new to your channel, how many acres do you have?
70
@@SheratonParkFarms Thanks 😊
What do you do about the flies? Or doesn't it affect production in any way?
You need to eat some garlic or ginger to help with the flu 🇳🇿❤️🙏🏼😊
Do you rake your fields after the move??
I DO. Rake and SOMETIMES I’ll mow high to even the grass growth!!
I was wondering about mowing too. If the cows don’t eat the less desirables, do they seed and spread without knocking them down.
Whts the information about the homesteading conference? Sept23-14?

What is the physical address for the Clemmons farmers market?

Oh sorry. Misread the question
Jerry Long Family YMCA

Clemmons, NC 27012
Since this is a cow video. I have a question. Ever since we put a ring in the bulls nose he started wearing skinny jeans and quit breeding my cows. What do I need to do?
Whts the farmers market name?
Yesterday you'll were a hot mess. Over them chickens..
We sure were
Do you turn away skinny jeans at the farmers market or do you make the sale and chuckle under your breath?
I’m sure you know, but a good beef type steer would make you more proper than wasting your time grazing those dairy cattle. What a waste of good grass.
Get better you two and God Bless you and your family.
