I personally have had terrific luck with Benchmade. An OG Freek in mid-late 2020 became my main user for like six months, followed by a blue Casbah for my first auto. Then, all at once the bhq jade m4 940 and g10 20cv 535 and also the Super Freek - all perfect. My g10 20cv sheepsfoot Griptilian is the knife I carry for the tough stuff. Ridiculous action, great edges, no spring problems. Super happy with them
Cool thumbnail. I've got 4 too, and they are my overall favorite. I'm excited for my critter scales to come, then I'll have cf elite, jade G10, micarta and titanium. My next scales will be vibranium, once Stark returns my calls 😉
I have an old Swiss Army and a Buck folder, 940 and a PM3, so I thought that I was pretty well covered in the knife department. But the 535-4 is just gorgeous. Had to have it.
I have a580 barrage I've been carrying nine years. Tough as nails. I also have the north fork in s30v I'm considering the 535. Love the aluminum handles and hoping it will stiffen up the flimsy design. Thanks for the content
Great video I bought my first benchmade a 535BK-2 liked it so much I went back 2 days later and bought the 535BK-4 to add to my Bugout collection and now want a super freak and plenty more benchmade knifes lol
I recently became a fan of the axis type lock through the purchase of a Ganzo Firebird F7621. While there are several aspects of the knife I don't like, I found myself really enjoying the "G-lock" design and it actually became one of my favorites because of the axis lock. The blade is not particularly slicy though and the knife is somewhat heavy and bulky. I recently ordered the aluminum Bugout simply because I love the esthetics. As shallow as that reason may sound, it was worth spending the extra money on it.
I have 4 Bugouts as well. 535-191 535-3 535-4 and a custom with M4 and Titanium scales. If I was drafting them price aside the order would be 535-191 535-3 Custom 535-4. If price was a factor the order would be 535-3 535-4 Custom 535-191.
I'd like a mini bugout with the aluminum sunburst scales and a satin blade. Does anybody sell such a combination? You might want to tell your viewers they can send their knives to Way of Knife in Traverse City, Michigan and they do a first class job for a very reasonable price with quick turnaround.
So I’m wondering, what color G-10 is that on your standard bug out? At first it looked black but when you handled it up close it looked almost like a bronze color. And did you change those scales yourself or did you order it that way?
I love my bugout bought 2 535-bk4 but Benchmade has no idea how to sharpen a knife. my bug out was the dullest knife I have ever bought and the most expensive. Benchmade should be ashamed of themselves for the edge they put on their blades
I have the black cerakote blade version, I don't think that particular one is available anymore, but I love it. The g10 is a little slippery imo. I sanded the scales down a little to get a little more grip. Other than that the m4 is awesome.
The 525-4 doesn’t say USA on the blade . The only Bugout not to have USA on the blade . It’s not because of m390 , because other models that have m390 say USA , so what’s the deal benchmade ? Little anti American vibe

“Just kidding, I don’t go to the gym…”🤣🤣. I’m trying to decide between the -3 and the CF Elite. Thanks for the review.

Great video! Thanks for posting!
Nice Bugout collection, helpful video. Was curious if you still had them all and carrying them.

Great video, my 535-4 arrives tomorrow i can't wait.
I got mine a few days ago and it’s such a beautiful knife! It’s my favorite right now.
Great minds I bought Smokey for m4 too
SMKW has a 535 with Ti scales available for under $200, just in case anyone is interested....

Yeah I can definitely see where you're coming from, hey thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, very much appreciated! 👊
"Just kidding, I don't go to the gym". Ha! Very good video!
Haha! Glad someone caught that!, Make sure to enter my knife giveaway!

Nice job, keep it up!

Toughest would be s90 v? I thought s90 was weaker than s30v it just held a better edge.

💩
Did you end up doing the swap with 3 and 4 blades? Interested in seeing that vid of the swap.
I did, I didn't record it, I will make a video showcasing them if you want to see?! Came out very very good
You know what pisses me off when you know a Bugout is real but yet some poser says it's fake
Looking into the smkw m4 exclusive bugout, any words of advice? Itll be my first benchmade

@@tonesetterfitness1261 it's still available last I checked, that's the one I was looking into actually
@@kylerscorner9094 cool they ordered more, last month they were out, I was going to get my brother one for Xmas
Do you still prefer 535-4 over 535-3?
"It literally exploded and took the knife world." I think you mean figuratively exploded. Unless... Wait... Did somebody strap dynamite to a Bugout?
My Omega springs exploded.
The Hogue Deka blows the 535 Bugout *way out* of the water. The Bugout has been swatted out. It's like a dead fly now. It's been "Bugged out"
One year later -4 it’s $300 and -3 it’s $330
Why did the price increase so much
I've had my case for over 15 yers and my dad had it before that. Pfft 200 plus mine was ten dollars back in the day and will outlast that plastic junk

This guy sounds kinda drunk
