Let's be honest, Starbucks can get pretty expensive. $5 for a frappuccino is not always worth it, so here is a copycat recipe to make at home! I made this recipe about a dozen times and perfected it to make it taste exactly the same as the ones served at Starbucks :) Enjoy!

-3 tbsp chocolate syrup
-1/3 cup chocolate chips
-1 1/4 cups milk
-1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

@@SM16Basketball Honestly, that's possible cuz Starbucks is not famous in my country, there is a Starbucks in my country but 'inside' my country, there are almost only 1 Starbucks in here but it's about 22 miles long..so, I'm sorry..
2 cups of ice
1 cup of milk
1/3 cup chocolate chips
3 tablespoons of chocolate syrup
2 tablespoons of sugar
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
blend for 20-30 seconds

I just made this for the first time and am drinking it as I type this and it is SOOOOO very good! I've tried several mock Starbucks drinks and none have been as good as this and I am amazed that I didn't have to add coffee for it to taste great! Thank you!
As a starbucks barista & chemistry major, this will be a lot better if you use an emulsifier. If you don’t, you run the risk of the frap turning out separated or having ice chunks. The one Starbucks uses is basically just xantham gum and water which you can probably find at Walmart or Kroger.
Little ice chunks are good. It makes it not so watery and thin.
Always stop by your channel if I crave sweets, which is EVERYDAY💕

It's my fav as well!! I feel like homemade always tastes slightly better anyways because you can customize the ingredients to your liking! :)

a cup of tae with suga and a kookie Yes and I tried the double chocolate chip and it TASTES SO GOOD!! It isn’t the actual one but it tastes amazing like an amazing chocolate milkshake. Definitely recommend it.

I tried it, and here is what I think.
It doesn’t taste exactly like the actual drink, which is what I expected. You can defined taste the chocolate chips in it too. It’s really tasty but not a lot like the actual drink. Other than that, love it 😊

Umm. I tried this and it doesn’t taste anything alike to the real thing.. doesn’t look the same in the thumb nail or when you were putting the syrup on top.... I’m disappointed

Tastes so good! Almost tastes like the real one! But one thing is that it is really thin and they are normally thicker so I don’t know how to change this but overall I recommend this thank you!
thanks Jayda! adding more ice will increase the thickness! I tend to go for light ice whenever I order frapps which is why this one is thinner

Great recipe I enjoyed following it! However I would recommend using more ice than the recipe calls for, slightly less milk, more chocolate syrup (about a tablespoon) and just an idea for decoration: put some chocolate syrup on the inside of the cup to make it look nicer!! 🍫🍦
Great ideas Velia! I typically order it with less ice that's why I didn't place as much ice in, but everyone has different preferences when it comes to that!
