Kolkata to M.P. Bike Ride Day 2 - Aurangabad to Rewa

#KolkatatoMadhyaPradeshbybike, #Kolkata, #sudurerpiyasi, #Rewa, #Mirzapur, #varanasi On the second Day of our Kolkata to Madhya Pradesh Bike Trip we covered a distance of around 404 km starting from Aurangabad (Bihar) to Rewa (Madhya Pradesh) via the Clock Tower of Mirzapur (U.P.) and Bahuti Waterfall (M.P.). We passed through three states - Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh - and the curves of the famous Vindhyachal range of mountains. The Clock Tower of Mirzapur was constructed in 1851 using the pink stones of Mirzapur. According to the locals its height is around 100 ft. and the large bell inside it has an inscription "London 1866". The Bell was cast by the Mears and Stainbank Founders, based at the famous White Chapel Bell Foundry. To our surprise, very recently we came to know that this Clock Tower of Mirzapur is the clock tower which represents Indian Standard Time (based on 82.5 degree East longitude, which passes through a nearby location and is 5 hours 30 minutes ahead of Greenwich Mean Time. But unfortunately, such a valued piece of history was lying much neglected. Our next destination was Bahuti waterfall, the highest waterfall (198 mtr) of Madhya Pradesh, on the river Sellar. The view point was excellent, but unfortunately there was almost no water during this winter time. We ended our Day at Rewa, one of the old cities of M.P. and rested for the night at Hotel AKS, a comfortable hotel at reasonable price.

অল্পে অপেক্ষার পর আবার বড় পর্দায় দারুণ উপভোগ করলাম এই ভিডিও। পথঘাট একদম বাস্তব রূপ দেখালো। সাসারামের ঐ পথের সাথে পরিচয় হয়েছিল অনেক বছর আগে। দারুণ লাগল এই যাত্রাপথ। ঝরনার এক নতুন রূপ দেখলাম। কোনও বর্ষায় যদি আসেন, তখন আর এক রূপ দেখবো। অনেক ধন্যবাদ ও শুভ কামনা জানবেন সুদুরের পিয়াসীরা । পরবর্তী পর্বের জন্য অপেক্ষায় ছটফট করছি।

Varanasi to rewa/ jabalpur আমরা via Allahabad NH30 ধরে গেছিলাম।
Road condition much better than via mirzapur. রাস্তাটি ও খুব সূন্দর। শুধু একটি অসুবিধা গরু চলে আসে। 😊।
তোমাদের blog দেখতে খুব ভালো লাগে। আলাপ করার ইচ্ছা রইল।
