The anchor is Jesus… we need to know to be anchored in Truth in HIM… when we know who HE IS… we don’t worry…

You are right, in this instance God is saying that his promise to you is your anchor. His promise = His Word. It is an anchor to hold you in faith when other words and thoughts come to move you. So in the moments words are floating around to get you off the path God has set His promise is the anchor.
