Could she be more adorable?
she's brilliant. and wow her english has improved so much:)
I'm glad I found this video. I teach a lot of students who barely speak English, and they're very shy about speaking, for fear of making mistakes. But I'm going to try to show them this video because I think they'll be inspired to see this famous actress fearlessly using her English, searching for words here and there, even making a mistake or two. I think it's wonderful and makes her even more beautiful.
Possibly the Best actress of our time, extremely talented and beautiful woman.
Her as Edit in La Vie en Rose was one of the best performances I have ever seen.
I LOVE her accent.
She seems so sweet, humble and approachable.
I love her so much. Her films are incredible, plus you can tell she's REALLY trying to speak English :)
Why are some people giving her a tough time about her accent? I think it is very beautiful, and as is the french language itself. I think her accent is lovely and it's a part of what makes her a unique human being and actress. Go Marion, your one of the greats!
"drowning....... water. uh, drowning. and i exploded too."
she is so cute :')
Gorgeous. i adore her accent also
"Droning in the water"... I love this period when she had such a strong accent. :)
"Fireworks? Pew, pew, pew, pew!"
Ah, I adore her.
cutest interview i've ever seen. i think i'm in love.
I love it when she say's "months" in the beggining, it has a french tone to it. Love it
I love listening to her talk. In English and French, and I like what she has to say. I love the way she tells her little stories. :)
She is amazing. Love her work.
Great actress, and an AMAZING individual. So passionate, and full of life. Always a joy to hear her speak and act.

She is so cute especially when she made a noise of firework. She is my favorite now.
"drowning?.. water?!.. drowning!" haah :D

Did she start speaking in another language (French?) without realizing at first? Haha, that was cute. I haven't seen that happen before.

Omg... I can't believe that I've never seen this before. O: Marion Cotillard is such a doll, fabulous in La Vie en Rose and basically every film that she's in. And I agree about her being funny, outsandingly so. ;) Her accent is so sweet too and the way she sort of flubs some words in English and you can see her thinking about to say and now just randomly giving out answers like most people. Love it! =]
OMG i love her so much!
firework part is soo cute
She's a riot! Love her.
luv her so much
she is adorable, i almost lost it when she was making firework sounds
@jamaineeee
Where did you get the Video? I've been trying to find it and I can't find it anywhere....
Aw. One of her movies was my first French movie! Jeux d' Enfants? She is such an amazing actress!
She's a french actress, won an Oscar a couple of years ago in the category of best lead actress for La Vie en Rose performing the role of the legendary singer Edith Piaf, and I tell you with no doubt that's one of the best acting works of all time, even superior than some Meryl Streep works (SOME). If you haven't watch it do it NOW.
"And uhh I exploded?...too." lol
She is stunning.
OMG! She is so adorable and such a talented actress.
she's absolutely GORGEOUS
Much improved. Her soul, thankfully, remains French.
i adore marion, i love her voice, her excitment and her beauty, she has natural beauty. i love that she cired during ET lol, she is just so amazing. the way she pronounces "drowning" and "exploded" and then she says fireworks and makes the little noise and shows what they do with her hands lol.
marion rocks!!!!! pure and simple
she's an AMZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG actress!the way she played edith piaf was just phenomenal. seriously. and of course, she is beautiful and her accent is absolutely adorable!
i love the way she says, "Montgomery Alabama"
omg. i love her
BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Wow... out of all the screen test videos (Naomi Watts, Katie Holmes, Penelope Cruz, etc), hers is the only video I could watch from start to finish.
So much charm and light. Easy to watch, an easy presence you can trust.
I absolutely love her
I love her so much!
How can anybody not love this woman?? It's impossible! :)
awww! adorable!
"I don't know if you say "legs" for a bird?..." Love it. She's so fantastic.
she is so beautiful...there is pureness in her speech
Aaaaww her imitation of fireworks :D
La seule video du New York Times que j'ai compris! xP
i love how she has exceptionally great english, but is sorta still humble and 'harsh' on herself haha like 'i dunno if you say 'legs' for a bird' or when she said 'fireworks' but still actioned them for the interviewer!!
I love when she says "Oh, yeah"
its so crazy, I've only seen her in Public enemies, and you would never notice she has an accent in the movie! especially that thick of an accent, its so cool how she can hide it that well!
Wow after seeing this I'm more in love with her than I was just seeing her work.I could watch & listen 2 her talk all day.I love 0:10-0:33.It made me laugh because I've actually done the same thing when I can't understand people. She totally blew me away in La vie en rose & she was also great in Public Enemies & Inception.I just saw her in Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris and she was great along with everyone else(He always picks the best actors 4 his films)Can't wait to see what's next 4 her.
she is soo great. i love her too!
awesome thumbnail
It's beautiful, I'm fascinated! The best and most beautiful actresses of our time, I love it!
