He seems to care for them a lot :,) So cute!
0:24. The sounds that they make. SO CUTE.
THIS!!
Them eyes! I can't resist! They're so precious!
Too cute. I used to volunteer at a local zoo, and they had a lot of these little guys(2 or 4, still quite a bit). They were being bottle fed, but they were just far too adorable.
That one at the beginning had me at the first meow and half-roar. So cute!
It looks like they take really good care of these guys. That's always great to see.
those eyes... you cant say no to those eyes ...
They are so cute, especially their big eyes.
Those eyes are gorgeous! They're so cute ❤️
Yes! Those searching, honest, beautiful eyes totally melted the ice around my heart~ 🥹😍
Why are they so cute!?! I really hope that one day I could volunteer for a program like this >
You can never ever get tired of watching Lio Cubs
Just watched the lion king and damn that film gets me more than it did when I was a kid. Love nearly everything vice does!!
They're so freaking cute
Being a baby animal expert is the cutest job in the world!
Those eyes! They melt my soul! :D
imagine they stayed that size for ever
sad to see these beautiful animals cooped up in such a grim hole :(
Lionesses do NOT kill their cubs. They rarely kill cubs that do not belong to them. Male lions do not even kill their own cubs. When a male lion or group of male lions take over a pride they will kill all the existing cubs. They do it to remove the former pride leaders offspring because he knows they will grow up and become a threat. Male lions will also kill cubs when thy are in their nomadic stage. They do it for the same reason. It reduces the chances of future threats. They only kill them. They do not eat them. The guy in the video is WRONG. He has to know better so he is lying and being disingenuous.I suspect they are doing it because they want to play with lion cubs all day. Maybe because they never plan on returning it to the wild so they want to domestic it as early as possible and having them around humans at a young age is a good way of doing that. Either way, it is selfish. Why rob the mother her first year with her cubs . She is caged up already so why take that from her too? I know the sounds a lioness and a cub make when they are apart and trying to locate each other. I bet they made it for days after this people separated them for their selfish reasons.
but...i just looked up like 8 sites that all say they do though. n he says that not all of them do and it foesnt happen alot anyways . its done 2 prevent it from happening at all. its done to prevent problems.
if i was a lion...i would have stay there and yells "aww hell no!!" when he returned me to my twisted mother
male lions sometimes kill there own cubs
Saw lionesses on the Kruger national park channel killing and eating cubs.
"Part 1 of 1" Someone called the Redundancy Department of Redundancy.
Can I be the redundant president of redundancy in charge of redundant redundancy in the redundancy department of redundancy?
It's so sad that these baby lions have to be inside with fluorescent lights and concrete floors.
my favourite show on the internet
0:39 those are some beautiful eyes
To all you tree huggers... near the start where the male zoo keeper talks 0:34 :
he said they will act on as a role to raise the "young ones" and "return" them.
Meaning they will release the cubs when they are mature enough to be released to the wild. I could have translated far better but they probably had to edit out some parts to keep pace to the recording. so chill they'll get to fish hunt and learn to survie in the wild .
Baby animal expert....he must have a very high tolerance to cuteness.
They have such funny little round bellies when he picks them up hahaha
I just found out that lion cubs are the cutest animals ever. I just want to hug the shit out of them.
oh my goooooooooooooooooooood look at theeeeeeeeem :D
It's so fluffy I'm gonna die!
Looks like a damn awful place for wild animals like lions to grow up in... I can't even concentrate on how cute those poor lions are.
What the fuck
It looks like they get alot of love and care though.
bruh the people feed them and take care of them
+Jack Tucker that's right other people just don't understand
Their eyes are so big and cute! AWWWWWWWWW
Ya know... if this didn't have subtitles, you'd swear it almost looked like he's showing us how they trap them, chop them up then feed them to their brothers and sisters. WOULDN'T BE TOO CUTE THEN, HUH!? *rawr*
THEY ARE SO FLUFFY!!!!!!
The Cute Show "YAYYY! *kids cheering*
Omg. They are so cute . they have the biggest eyes i ever saw
Everyone can now die a better person for seeing this.
words cannot describe this feeling
what a cute creature!
AWWWW! Wook at those wittle faces!!!!
SOOOOOOOOOO CUTE :D
"Baby Animal Expert" wow sounds like an awesome job
every time he lifted a lion I sang the lion king theme song
Oh, Vice. One minute you're dodging sniper fire in Syria and interviewing Liberian cannibal warlords, the next you're showing us cute baby animals. Truly, you are the best media conglomerate at internet-ing.
omg that was the most adawwwwwrable thing everrrrrr.
I saw a documentary on a place who raised wild predators, and they seperated most of the cubs for the same reason, one that was not seperated was indeed killed by her mother. If I remember correctly, if the mother senses that the cub is too weak, she will kill it.
Nope, he did say they are taking the cubs away to protect them from their mother. He didn't directly say the mother will kill them, but he did imply it by saying that they are taking the cubs away since lions are 'wild beasts'.
'baby animal expert'? I've figured out what I want to do with my life.
Those cubs won't grow to be aggressive if they keep them in this environment. And look at house cats! They are born with the same instincts. People don't realise that a lot of animals are aggressive because we make them. It's the same as a human child! But these cubs are so adorable! :3
THOSE EYES ...OMG sooooo cute>>>
CUTENESS OVERLOAD!!!!
0:23 awww
Those lions were cute..
I think you might find that there is something lost in translation. The lioness would not kill her own cubs, but another lioness might.
My heart just just melt like
OMG this is just too much cuteness, I cant take it. I'm just sad they were taken away from their mother. I wouldnt think infanticide is THAT common.
Simbas! Simbas everywhere!
IT'S SO FLUFFY I'M GONNA DIEEE!!
If you're typing at a computer, you're definitely not a lion, dude, just an escapist human who thinks they're an "otherkin" or something.
OMG. I LOVE THE NOISES. >.
all fun and games till that cub makes u its dinner
i like the realistic floor and walls. looks like real concrete.
vice you have forever changed
Lioness never kill their cub !
Let them out!
Nice flag, great symbol of friendship between the two countries.
And whats so amazing about all this is those lions cubs will remember him years to come ppl think animals are dumb in stupid when in fact they are as smart as a human if you raise lions from cubs to adults and treat them with respect that will never forget that and truth be told lions are probably about the only lions that will let you film them just as long as you stay a within a safe distance!
Simba looks confused lol
I thought that the dad was the one that they had to stay away from until they were older? they look pretty cute haha
my heart just exploded
Remember: little lions and alligators may sound like good pets, but they grow up.
I have NEVER heard of a mother killing her cubs. Maternal instinct is universal and powerful. This man doesn't know what he's talking about
Hamsters perfect example, if the mother gets distressed she eats her babies. Some animal parents especially feline and even more so on the lone hunters (cheetas, leopards etc) they can sometimes be aggressive to their cubs when they feel they could threaten their own life quality. You my friend, don't know what you're talking about c;
Actually some mother do get annoyed or they sit accidentally kill their young it is very sad :(
It's a sad reality, but lions sometimes kill their babies i.e. the runts or if their milk runs dry. Or they simply reject them for reasons we don't understand. It is my observation, however, that animals can be stressed living in captivity and are more prone to reject their young. The balance is that they get proper feeding and medical care in captivity and they don't have to worry about predators eating their young.
Katherine Uribe
There's also the fact that any good zoo or sanctuary only takes animals who missed out on their learning years and can't survive on their own. Some will take poached animals, sadly... but we try and stamp that shit out. Basically, when you go to a zoo, that lion is there because if it wasn't, it would be dead.
SabbyNeko Going to a zoo is a mixed bag...the animals get medical treatment, are safe from predators, etc. But it's not the ideal situation. The best would be if they had their habitats back, if people wouldn't hunt them, and if we'd quit messing up the earth. There are no easy solutions.
Internet used BABY LIONS.....It's super effective!
I think it's more like they don't want the cubs to have the trial period. When cubs can walk and see, the mother will bring them to the pack and the father will either accept them or kill them thinking it's another male lion's babies. So removing them will take that possibility away.
Where did they get the idea that mothers kill their cubs?? Need some education.
Prone means, it can happen, but not always, but just in case, they remove the cubs from the mother.
It only happens if the babies have a handicap and the mother judges they're not healthy enough to live. Most of the time they're completely safe. IMO it's dumb to separate a mother from her youngs, as she will be desperately searching for them in a panic for hours. This is why I hate zoos
It should be obvious to him that what he's saying is not consistent with the reality in front of him, with them being SO well behaved. He picks them up and they just relax and enjoy being held..... yet he just assumes they're just mindless wild killing machines that'll kill everything within reach.
Best. Job. EVER.
Every time I see exotic animals I fantasize about getting one...
Your first job as Baby animal expert is to feed the baby Naked Mole Rats.
beautiful creatures
Lion cubs are fun to curb stomp
yeah, everything is cute and fuzzy until they grow up and attack you
Vice: We are sorry for the shit we have been churning out lately - here, look at some cute baby lions :D
Simba!
few years and that thing can tear your throat
How can anyone say no to cute lion cubs?
That's some cute kids there
if i got a job as a "baby animal expert", i could never be angry anymore. maybe not the best thing, when you think about it.
That has to be the best job in the world!
Oh my lord. I think I just died of a cuteness attack.
Name one part of my comment where I implied Vice has ever made something 'forbidden'...
Didn't make sense to me too at first, but then I thought that they're animal experts so hopefully they know what they're doing :).
Why do you have to be so freaking cute!
The Cute Show is amazing haha
the mother does not kill cub because its a wild animal. she kills her own offspring often time because she is a wild animal held in captivity in condition that to her is not suitable for raising her cub. Or maybe her milk ran out, in which case if she were in the wild with her pride the cub would still be taken care of.
vice is turning into animal planet!
Theyre adorable!
vice always comes through!
four lions... god i hope those cubs never watch the movie xD
I totally agree. If a mother disowns her cub, that's one thing. But to take them like this is ridiculous!
Named after the four elements, sweet.
this is so cute i exploded.
Dam, I want to be a Baby animal expert now.
