This is a God-tier snapshot... Ron Eschete created Joeys harmonic right hand sense... I hear it....comping George benson's scatting ! seems he was a big influence, as he was on me... with his easy to follow jazz instruction for guitar... superb vid worthy of boosting to mars
the two gods of melodic jazz, both always honest without pretending to be stars with their manners but true stars above others sound & tone together . can't believe i see . more & more please . god bless you for sharing !!! fitting strap lock , guitar cable handover , tunning, quick warming up they both could play till morning abbsolutelly impressed thank you for sharing !
Who ever passed that Gibson to George should have tuned it first! And he still pulled an amazing performance! What a privilege to see these two legends playing together
Not sure anyone in the history of jazz and certainly on B3 tears up a chorus of 12 bar blues more than Joey did. The quote from the movie, I think it was from " Annie" at about 8:23 was well...Ron killed it too, not an easy feat when GB is about 3 feet in front of you.
Joey quoted the song Tomorrow from Annie at the end of his blues solo. How he got that to fit into a 12 bar blues only he could do. We miss you Joey!!!!

Silly good. It's really once in a lifetime you might (wish to) see such talented musicians together.
Steamers was the coolest little club in So Cal! Miss Steamers, and certainly miss Joey-D! Killer trio, and George is ... well, he's George!
Joey DeFrancesco entra para a História como um dos mais extraordinários músicos de todos os tempos! 🇧🇷
Incredible! So much fun, and no one cares that George’s guitar is completely out of tune. Ron Eschete- product of my hometown, Houma, La. !!!🔥🎶🎹🎸
testament to his playing
