Believe it or not I think this was the last time that Jane and Sydney interacted in a scene with Michael!!! From season 5 they never interacted again !!!!
Michael tells the patient he didn’t have his files but is holding lots of files? And that poor patient sat there waiting just to be sent home? Poor fella.
I believe this was the final scene which Michael shared with Jane (before she left) and Sydney. Obviously Jane returned but Michael and Sydney never shared anymore scenes after this

Michael Mancini drugged Kimberly Shaw and that is how he found out about what Sydney done. Kimberly Shaw meant absolutely no harm to Jane it just happened that Sydney drugged Jane.
