日本の吹奏楽界でアルヴァマー序曲と言えばJ.C.バーンズの代表作と呼ばれることもある程、昔から親しまれている曲である。爽やかさを感じる快活なパートに美しい旋律のパートが挟まる、急ー緩ー急のいわゆる序曲形式であり、魅力としては旋律の”親しみやすさ”が大きな点として上げられる。
皆様もどこかで聴いたことがあるような懐かしい雰囲気を感じ取り、リラックスして聴いていただきたい。

【Alvamar Overture】
In the Japanese wind band world, the Alvamar Overture is a long-loved piece, sometimes referred to as J.C. Barnes' masterpiece. It is in the form of a fast-slow-fast overture, with beautiful melodic parts sandwiched between refreshing, lively parts, and one of the major attractions of this piece is the familiarity of the melody.
I hope you will feel a nostalgic atmosphere that you may have heard somewhere before, and listen to it in a relaxed atmosphere.

ベアーズ ウインド オーケストラの皆さんこんにちは。解説にある通りにアルヴァマー序曲はどこかで耳にした曲です。アニメ「響け！ユーフォニアム」にも演奏シーンがありますね。この曲はA－B－Aの3部形式で構成されてますが、ベアーズ ウインド オーケストラさんの演奏を聞くとドラマチックな感じがしてとても新鮮な気持ちが蘇ります。新入生が入学式で感じるワクワク感がぴったりくる様な。素敵な演奏ありがとうございます。
