Yeah, that would be cool, but they definitively said they would not pursue drag racing on the platform about 6 or 7 years ago unfortunately
This game is an embarrassment to the NHRA. The old PS2 game was WAY more intune with everything. This game is literally trash. I read the reviews, almost all were bad, but I thought maybe, just maybe they didn't understand drag racing and how technical it really is, and bought the ultimate edition. A little back story, I've been going to the nationals in Brainerd since I was 4, I'm 41 now. I LOVE THIS SPORT. Green Mill should be sued for this. NHRA should offer all who bought refunds and the NHRA needs to contact EA sports or SOMEONE who knows how to design games. None of the sounds mtch up for the engines, no shifting sounds. I mean my no limit drag racing game on my phone has better physics for gods sake. I can't believe the NHRA approved this for release. DO NOT BUY, you'll be sadly disappointed

WIth visuals like this (especially the clouds. Just look at those GODLY BEAUTIFUL volumetric clouds man!) I'm super jealous that this super-niche game (don't get me wrong I don't want to offend any drag racing fans out there) has such a complex dynamic sky system under the hood while some open-world racers which would benefit greatly from it still opt for simple skyboxes instead (I'm looking at you NFS Unbound).
Nice graphics and HD yet it sounds like atari😂. Countdown to the Championship is wayyyyyyyyy better.

NHRA made a huge mistake ( IMHO ) trying to copy NASCAR. Multi car teams in drag racing is cheating and always has been. Not interested in ever going to an NHRA Top Fuel anything. so enjoy young people.
