Mexican gray wolves Nita and Jean represent the Wolf Conservation Center's participation in the active effort to to save their species from extinction.
The Mexican gray wolf or “lobo” is the most genetically distinct lineage of wolves in the Western Hemisphere, and one of the most endangered mammals in North America. By the mid-1980s, hunting, trapping, and poisoning caused the extinction of lobos in the wild, with only a handful remaining in captivity. In 1998 the wolves were reintroduced into the wild as part of a federal reintroduction program under the Endangered Species Act.

My thoughts as well! I scrolled many comments to see if somebody also talks about it.
When the wolf got up and walked away, there was blood spot on the snow. I rewatched to see if it's from a trauma, but it's at the exact same place where her certain "body part" was. This "body part" of her sister was also dark red (I didn't pay attention to it at first, because it is also rather well-hidden by fur). After all that, the video was no longer cute for me - cause her sister was just trying to show dominance over other she-wolf in this weird way; or it was some need for stimulation from an animal in heat.
I think it's ok to show animal life in different situations for education about their behavior, but I'm against giving them all these cute (or sometimes silly) human features :)

I love how she was just chillin', then she was startled, got annoyed, but was going to just ignore it and continue chillin', and then seeing her annoyed-but-whatever reaction it just escalated to get more reaction out of her until she's just not dealing with it... That is such an older sibling thing.

Wolves are pretty intelligent social animals and as such, they have strong bonds within the pack, as well as the ability to bond outside of their species, they have empathy and care literally build in by the evolution. They barely ever attack humans these days, and unlike humans, they rarely if ever kill just for fun. So they're not killing machines, neither are they unfeeling, and they're less dangerous than moose, bears, wolverines, and bobcats, not to mention wild boars.

Yeah pretty sure wolf are some intelligent animals that dont hunt alone has a simi sense of government which generally means there is an alpha and that alpha leads the pack they can be vicious and a killing machines yes but to a degree of not only survival you know the thing where you want to stay alive as well as territorial so like you being in your house and a home intruder or many come into your house pretty sure you would conduct yourself in the same manner unless your the roll over and die type another fascinating fact when wolfs mate they mate for life there is no other female after that thought I'd put my 2 cents in
