I definitely can’t wait to see how everything plays out in Season 5 (final season) of Stranger Things, and where it’s gonna take us from here, I know since it’s the final season, the Duffer Brothers are probably gonna take inspirations from Avengers: Endgame, The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, Star Wars: Episode VI - Return Of The Jedi, The Dark Knight Rises, and Season 5 of Breaking Bad, and we’re not sure who’s gonna live or who’s gonna die, and we know that no one is safe right now

Cannot wait for this season! It’s definitely my most anticipated season of TV, and the finale will without a doubt go down as the best within the series.
I’m pretty sure that Kali is going to make an appearance at some point. It wouldn’t make any sense to leave that plot line open, especially since she’s the only person, other than Eleven and Vecna, who has powers. That, and they kept referencing her in season 4. If they really wanted to retcon her out of the series, they wouldn’t have mentioned her as much in that season as they did. There was also an article where the Duffer Brothers talked about using people and ideas that popped up in season 2 in the ending of season 5. It’d only make sense if one of those people was Kali, especially because Eleven wasn’t able to defeat Vecna in season 4, even with everyone working together. If Kali and Eleven teamed up in season 5, they might actually have a chance at killing Vecna.
I think they’ll team up in season 5. Vecna isn’t gonna go easy in season 5, and they’re gonna need help, so I think it’ll be her.

The real town of Jackson that doubles as the town of Hawkins on the show now has a tour guide going on for it. Supposedly they do a tour through the town and the landmarks from the show and have a replica of the surfer boy pizza van there with food and other activities etc. That's interesting.
EDIT: JUST got done with the tour. Pretty fun stuff. I like that they take pride in the fact that the show is filmed there enough to create gift shops and walking tours.
The whole Jancy Vs Stancy thing should be resolved by all three characters just moving on with their lives. Multiple people told Nancy that she and Jonathan liked each other in the first two seasons. Flo was wrong when she said Jonathan got into a fight over love for Nancy. Jonathan didn’t throw a punch until Steve ripped on his family.
Then Dustin, Eddie and Robin kept saying “ooohhhh, you two liiiike” each other” in season 4, so they start thinking of that Stancy train.
Nancy has oblivious parents who got married and started a nuclear family because it was the norm. Jonathan’s father was emotionally abusive to his mom, himself and his brother, and it’s implied that Steve’s father cheats on his mother. So none of them have parents with healthy relationships and they only know what they’re supposed to want, not what they actually want. When Steve describes why he likes Robin, it feels more authentic than his romantic feelings for Nancy. He knows a romantic relationship won’t happen with Robin, but still wants her to be happy.
Where does it imply that Steve’s dad cheats on his mum I think I missed that bit!
Ok let me make one thing super clear: Max is 99% going to wake up from her coma!!! In a recent video, it explained how she’s getting paid around 9 million dollars for season 5, and there’s no way she’s getting paid that much just to be asleep the entire season. Also, Max might be a really big part of defeating Vecna. At the end of season 4, we suspected that Max might be lost in Vecna’s mind, therefore knowing more of his plans, weaknesses, backstories, etc. If a major character were to die, it would most likely be Eleven, Will or Robin.

I really don’t think she’ll be getting that much. Let’s say there’s 8-10 episodes. Millie Bobby brown is the highest paid so far and gets around 300k an episode so she got about 2.4m for season 4. For Sadie to get 9 million for season 5 that’s a huge amount of money per episode and doesn’t seem plausible at all.
@@davidfairweather3301 Finn, Gaten, Caleb, Noah and Sadie will get about 6 - 7 million each for the last season. Millie will not be paid from the Stranger Things budget because she has a separate contract with Netflix.

Finn Wolfhard, the guy who plays Mike, said that Season 5 will answer "an insane amount of questions about the lore of Stranger Things, the world-building." Remember back in Season 1 Episode 2 when Hopper tells a woman that the last person to go missing in Hawkins was in summer 1923 and the last suicide was in fall 1961. Remember, at this point in the show, Hawkins just had it's first missing person since 1923 (Will, who was taken to the Upside Down) and it's first suicide since 1961 (Benny, who was murdered by Hawkins lab agents). I hope Season 5 will solve the mystery on these two cases and maybe they have something to do with Henry Creel and the Upside Down.

When your talked about Eddie and the 2 days later skip, I think it would make sense they would hide something that we didn’t see during the past two days before this big black cloud appeared. It might happen like when we saw that little scene in ep 2 I think when we saw hopper alive from the explosion in the Russian lab. It could happen like that but like you said the duffers are bringing the original gang together but it would be cool to see Dustin getting visions of some sort with Eddie in it. The kas theory is pretty high considering vecna would need his headstart. This season will be a real banger though can’t wait for more updates!

What I really expect is that they make a new type of monster , something like a spider form the upside down , bcs Henry(Vecna) loved spiders and he created those creatures , sure he made the Mind Flayer that looks like a spider , but what if he could create a spider maybe the size of a larger demodog. Can't wait for the new season man it will be EPIC.
Dustin explained last season that Vecna is just a middle man. If the Mind Flayer is just a soldier, Vecna is a commander. So there’s a General (Cthulhu?) out there. Even in DND the Vecna creature wasn’t the big bad.
And 1 didn’t create the Mind Flayer, he just gave it form.

The best reasoning of why the upside down being stuck on that date is because Will made a whole new Hawkins that helped him deal with the terror and trouble he was dealing with in the upside down

I have a theory: Eleven can’t live a normal life so long as she is hunted by the military. So Eleven will die. At least her body will. Her soul will inhabit Max's body which is an empty shell. New identity, new life.
It's crawl because when Nancy killed the vecna, he fall on the ground but when they came out to see him, he wasn't there so might be vecna is crawling to somewhere.
And yet we haven't seen any role or major villain from upside-down it self. It was vecna who were doing stuff from season 1 so there has to be someone in upsidedown who rules it. So my theory vecna is crawling to that thing to get him back his power and in last episode we are gonna see that thing too.

I think I heard awhile back that the runtimes are gonna be about 45 minutes to 60 minutes, besides the finale which is gonna be probably around 2 hours, I know they said the episodes aren't gonna be as long, and going back to how the previous seasons were besides the series finale which will be most likely over 2 hours like The Piggyback. so far only movies I've heard them mention when talking about season 5 are Star Wars-Return of the Jedi and LOTR-The Return of the King. I think they will take inspiration from other "final' movies of franchises too, such as Avengers-Endgame, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, The Hobbit- the Battle of the Five Armies, Star Wars- Revenge of the Sith, The Dark Knight Rises, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, the Matrix Revolutions, Twilight- Breaking Dawn and The Hunger Games- Mockingjay.
I think the IT, A Nightmare on Elm Street and Hellraiser influence that season 4 had will still be there, maybe a little more subtle though. besides IT, other Stephen King influences for season 5 I think will be The Mist, Stand by Me (love to see them walking on train tracks again), The Stand and Storm of the Century, and there hasn't been an adaptation yet but think the book The Talisman could serve as inspiration too, Firestarter and Carrie have been influences since the beginning. the Alien franchise has always been an influence throughout the series, so I expect more references to Alien and Aliens in season 5. other movies I could see being influences on season 5 are The Gate (as well as its underrated sequel) and the Phantasm movies. Since they said it's gonna have some vibes and the tone of previous seasons I'm sure we will get some more nods to E.T., Poltergeist,JAWS, Close Encounters, Jurassic Park, The Goonies etc..
can't wait for season 5!, hoping for a late 2024 release date.. November or December 2024 perhaps? We shall see..

I think they will do something really big for Stranger Things Day as it's the last one before the end, and it will be 40 years since Will was taken.

The main characters are in danger on multiple fronts. There’s of course the Upside Down ( it’s entirely possible that Will has some sort of creation or projection abilities and the Upside Down didn’t take the form of Hawkins until Will got trapped there. He may not remember it happening like El didn’t remember blasting Henry to another dimension. Creating and entire town would have taken a lot of power.),
They’re in danger from the government guys that were chasing El and they’re also in danger from the people that believe the Hellfire club was a satanic cult. Hopper and Will have both been declared dead and they’re totally alive. That could cause some superstitious people to freak out and claim they were brought back with Satanic rituals.

I finished stranger things all season's last year and it was interesting it touched me in the inside you know that feeling when something is inside you i missed these series ❤❤❤❤ so much i hope they can do it again FOR THE FANS but i hope It will be long 25 ep 😏
My prediction. Vecna merges with the mindflayer physically. Will dies (maybe he wasn't supposed to live past season 1) and Eleven has to turn time back to the first season and she dies too. Steve dies. Nancy and Johnathan find out they're pregnant and name it Steve.
I would watch a series of you going to the filming locations of season 5!!!
It makes more sense to have all scripts completely written before they start filming. Filming before the writing it complete is just too risky. That's what a lot of people said what went wrong with Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3.
Also, there are two other theories on what "The Crawl" means. Either it's Vecna crawling away after being attacked in "The Piggyback" and going to hide somewhere so Nancy, Robin, and Steve don't finish him off or it means that is when the monsters are going to crawl out of the gate in the ground in the center of Hawkins.
But yeah, we definitely sure will be getting something else about season 5 before the season ends. They always want to announce something on Stranger Things Day; November 6. And I know they will have to reveal something really special this time because this coming November 6th will be the 40th anniversary since that day in 1983. It will just feel like full circle with whatever it is.
I know Steve is going to sacrifice himself for Jonathan, or just to save everyone. Something would've happened to Robin where she didn't see Steve die. Nancy will have to save both Robin and the boys, after she does so Jonathan wakes up to see Nancy in grief and he stumbles over to put his hand on her shoulder and say "He really loved us,... he REALLY loved you."
My theory is that Steve is one of the oldest and with the ongoing love triangle with Nancy and Jonathan. I feel that Steve, after being bitten badly and surviving he will become Kas the vampire who betrays Vecna and will die helping. It won't be Eddie.

6:17 time starts there because as we see Vecna losing, that world was disappearing. He gave it shape because at 1983 is when 11 pushed 1 through to the other-side.
I am pretty sure that they are gonna use EVERYONE that died in some way or another, I just don't know how yet. That usually happens in final seasons

They are building it up to going back to the beginning. I’ve always wondered if the Will that came back was actually the real Will?
What if Will was being controlled the whole time and he’s the real Kas. Not wanting to help Vecna, but secretly helping him. There may be flashbacks showing how he was helping the whole time. Something pretending to be Will who had Wills memories. I always thought his transition back into the group was odd and too easy considering what he experienced.
There was were moments that he didn’t really seem to be helping his friends.

A full ''Luke, I am your father'' moment with 001 and 011. Obviously, she can't bring him back to reason like Luke does with Anakin, because Vecna is bad shit crazy too far gone. She'll fight him to the death, both of them. She said in season 4 ''I am a mistake, I don't belong anywhere'', and part of saving everyone for her also means erasing herself from the picture. She is most powerful when angry, and with the news of her being a spawn of Vecna, one character closest to her like Mike or Hopper will be killed right in front of her and fuel her with the necessary anger to tear Vecna apart, closing the gate and killing him, killing herself in the process. My boyfriend says the government will put a dome over Hawkins like in the Simpsons to contain the monsters. XD
I think that it could be several things ... 1 that the past seasons including 5 is the 20 minutes mike asked for in 1 and was denied but he really got it 2 that it's like the never ending story and bastian is reading a book to one of his kids so I think it could be both of those. I think that nancy and steve will end up together an jonathan goes to nyu ... I don't know what will happen with mike unless he becomes the new scott for the av club i think that max and lucas will end up together dustin could end up with suzie or plot twist erica lol and maybe will be like bob newby ... i think hop might end up meeting and marrying terri and become eleven aka janes dad ... eleven will have never been at the lab nor have powers mike just put that in his campaign to impress her cuz he had such a huge crush on her. Speaking of the last season, I predict this season will take place in the same year, 1986, but in the fall/autumn of 1986. I thought some of you guys predict that Season 5 will take place in 1987. In Season 4, it took place on late March of 1986. As for the soundtrack, I'm also predicting more classic songs in there like "Papa Don't Preach" and "Live To Tell" by Madonna, and "Higher Love" by Steve Winwood. If there are more classic songs to predict in the soundtrack of Season 5, as long as those songs exist in 1986 or 1987, what do you guys think?

1 hour long episodes with the final episode being 3 hours long to really close off the story good. Edge of your seat nonestop thriller filled with emotions.
Season 4 broke Netflix in a good way it’s only right they do the same with the final season 2 parts 1 hour run time with the final episode being 3 hours long

I also hope Season 5 finale gets split up to Vol 1 & 2 and make vol 2 epic battle finale gets a 3hrs run-time like a movie similar like Avengers: Endgame and Avatar: The Way of Water. I also hope they make the end credits way too more emotional, similar like Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, Avengers: Endgame (2019), and Scream (2022) like when they showed the main characters actor last

I don't think Mike's going to die in Season 5 it's unlikely given to what Finn said about him not Foreseeing his character die in the final season it looks like Mike's Fates is not going to happen after all which most likely confirms that Mike Wheeler will survive in the next season after all I hope this is true because thought Steve was going to die in Season 4 but The Duffer Brothers changed it so they could do the same thing for Finn's character just like they did Joe's character we thinking Mike is going to get killed but He gets saved by Eleven and he instead survives the season I really hope that Mike survives the season because like The Duffer Brothers said you kill Mike that's Depressing.
It makes sense that start to emd is going to be intense cause the 1st episode is called the crawl when you said its going to start where the end of s4 was and then they start to talk to each other then monater come crawling and eating pepole in Hawkins and then it goes to the intro
I cannot wait for this season! And tbh I’m really hoping we get an amazing ending something that really scares me is the Duffer Brothers are known for their amazing writing, that’s what made the show so popular from that and the amazing cinematography it has, they are able to give the show an edge without having that lazy cliche writing. I really hope they don’t opt out and double down on writing to give us a cliche “The Hero (11) has to sacrifice herself for everyone” we’ve seen it TO MANY times with other shows, we grow so close to a character, build memories of them, and watching the other characters grow with them and then BAM! The last season they have to killed them off just to “save” everyone else, to me I feel like it’s just really lazy writing. Please do not disappoint us Duffers. I remember watching this show for the very first time in 2016 when it first came out by the time this last season comes out it would have been a 8 - 9 year long running season im sure slot of the OG fans as myself wouldn’t want an ending like that

They foreshadow with argyle dying by Vecna or at least being attacked by him , because they overplay pass the dutchie, and the music is the only way to save them.

What I’m fearing, is that in the duffer brothers video, they said “We’re not going to talk about who Steve’s dating, and just go full send from the start” based on that wording, I think Steve Harrington, is going to die VERY SOON
Steve got bitten, and being the oldest cast member with the love triangle going on, I feel Steve will be Kal the vampire who betrays and finishes off Vecna.
And just think Nancy will die near the end and that effects Steve and turns/ betrays Vecna. Steve is Kal (Vampire)

A main character or 2 has to die this time. The finals don't really make an impact unless a main character is lost. The whole time watching season 4 I was like Max aint gone die. Then they killed her I was like oh they did it, then they brought her back and I was like really? -_-
I’m ok with the st5 finale being long but I definitely agree with the the 7 (possible) first episodes being back to our normal programming lol
