Aaah, the Nismo Z-Tune. The rarest of all the R34's. Nissan actually bought 20 used R34 Skylines and took them back to the factory, where they turned them in to Nismo Z-Tunes. It's a beautiful car, and Tamiya represent it very well with this kit. Personally, I'm not a fan of bare carbon fibre, I prefer a deep colour of paint, but I can really appreciate your decal work, it's excellent. You even got the fibre weave to line up, you mad man!

I always put the clear and chromed (or gold in some cases) in 'clear' sandwich/pint/quart/gallon kitchen bags.....I prefer the slider closing type too.......Keeps these parts protected........

After seeing this I gotta go back and finish mine I started a while ago and put up cause I was getting a little burnt out on it trying to finish it. I had added an engine bay to mine using the hobby designs rb 26 engine and engine bay kit but for some reason the rb 26 didn’t look scale and to small so I had to poach the rb outta a r32 Tamiya kit I had in my stash which worked a lot better imo. I thought it was gonna be a lot easier than it was but I’m gonna eventually get there. Thanks for the inspiration

quick tip for you, next time you will apply carbon decals to improve the result try to paint the support with black matt

You keep raising the bar! That was a fenomenal job on the carbon front end! May I suggest a personal challenge to raise your standarts even higher? Try dividing the carbon decals in two halves, so you can mirror the carbon trim, making it symetrical. Like in the Koenigsegg's carbon jobs. Don't know if it would fit perfectly in the middle, but it would certainly look the part!!
But as always keep up with the great work! One day I want to order a car from you :)

I use tamiya black panel line accent colour or black acrylic paint..do this after clearcoat so u can remove the excess easily

What glue did you use on the front bumper? Is it super glue or scale modeling cement?
I just got my Z tune R34 kit and I am using cement, but I dont think it will last, as I am going to use it for slot car drag racing.

Hey, for bumper i use strong superglue + thick glue on the inside to fully lock it😂 normal hobby cement is not strong enough sometimes. And thank you so much for your support!😁

Hey, i use white glue😁 it will not melt the plastic and once its dry it will become clear..safe and easy to use.

What needle size are you using when spraying the body? I have issues with not getting down enough coverage, leaving the zebra strips when it comes to clear coat.
Hey, i use 0.3 nozzle..previously i use a cheap airbrush even on 0.5 or 1.0 i still having issues too..so i think the airbrush quality is very important..and try to thin the paint more and spray with high pressure

Model cars are tough to build. Even small mistakes can compromise your results.
Military vehicles are much more forgiving.
