You guys always find the most beautiful places to fish! I have some silimar spots, but they're little pretty brookies and not those big browns. Love all your videos!
Good day Benny, Thanks for the invitation to a few stretch of water with good trout in them all.Thumbs up and best regards from faraway land, New Zealand, Down Under.
What a way to start the new year off, this is one motivator video, the guys did an outstanding job with those beautiful trout. Hoping to get out this week, looks like some of the creeks went down to my liking. Hey Ben, I bet as a fly fisherman you were frothing at the mouth watching your buddies land all those gorgeous browns. Great video as usual...Tight Lines.
Another great video guys! Very informative, a lot of good tips and tricks! gonna have to get me some of those sighted leaders.Happy New Year guys. Tight lines.
Very nice video! What kind of backpack was Iron Mike using? I’m thinking of changing to a set up like that for fishing the Smokies this summer. Thanks for sharing
Thanks Benny for all the great videos you make. You guys do such a wonderful job.I know you guys sell flies and leaders etc. Do you also sell a a selection of fly tying materials? If not would you share some good places to purchase good materials?I wonder where you are located in Pa.My hometown is Altoona but now live in NW pa.Once again thanks for all the time you invest in making great hunting and fishing videos. You and your group are appreciated more then you can imagine.
Hey Benny, great video by you. No offense to these guys, but i would have loved seeing you fish these waters. I think they spooked a bunch of fish, by walking into the water netting fish. Something i’ve never seen you do. Also i love the way you handle the fish, keeping them in the water.
Question about your leaders. Did you say there is a tippet ring on the bottom of them? So you would tie a preferred tippet size and length to what you sell?
Matt Musto there is a tippet ring on all of our nymphing leaders. The amount of tippet tied to the ring typically varies but 3-3.5’ to top fly is typically what we run. Thanks for watching
Thanks for another great video guys. I continue to learn a lot from them and can now consistently catch fish on the fly. Are you guys planning on having a booth at the Lancaster Fly Fishing Show?
Another in a long line of great videos. You guys make the best instructional nymphing videos on the internet. Now, for a question: Could you explain why you rig your nymphs in-line as opposed to the way all of the comp guys do it, namely with dropper tags? Alex
Great video guys! Quick question. Do you use the Y2K as a topwater attractor/ strike indicator or do you fish it in the lower water column with your nymph at the bottom?
Thanks Anthony, we fish it down and dirty as low as it can go. Best of luck when you get out and at the end of your drift be sure to let it slowly rise and sometimes even in the winter they will head up and slam it.
Great vids guys !! I’m a deco guy trout are few and far between near me any suggestions since I have to drive a bit for good waters ? Thanks guys ! Maybe I’ll run into you guys one day learned a ton since watching
Excited to be the first to see this. Just out of curiosity it seems you do most of the fishing videos in the winter, why is that? I could be wrong but that has been my perception, not that some content doesn't come out throughout the year as well. Anyway, best of luck this year. Thanks for sending over the Y2K eggs to me. Hoping I can get out with them in the next week or so and make a video. Tight lines my friends!
Thanks for the message and we are so busy with orders and the company in the Spring it is very hard to make it out fishing. Actually 60 plus hours weeks are already happening since December so that is why it took so long to get to editing this one and getting it posted. Best of luck on getting your next video up and enjoy those Y2K's. Thanks for all of the support and here is to a great 2019 on and off the water!
@@lensherlinski9273 Well... I got off of work, but my wife didnt. So bad news is I can't fish. Good news is I can spend time with the little one since she not at daycare. Maybe this weekend.
Mike Hoolihan we use the 2wt syndicate for rods. As for reels any 3/4 wt reel balances great on those rods it seems. I have a Reddington rise, Allen trout ll, and the hatch 3 plus. Like them all actually. Thanks for watching! Mike
What length rod do you guys use mostly theres a lot of trees where i go usually and its a smaller river average is about 25 feet accross but there are some spots that are more like 75 feet though i was thinking about the 11 foot 2 wt but i am thinking it might be too long in the trees in some spots
Hey Jody, We all prefer the 10 foot and it works great on the streams we fish, both small feeder streams and larger main branches. Best of luck with your decision and when you make it out on the water.
@@living4theoutdoors thank you soo much i really appreciate it i learned a lot from your guys videos and i am working on setting some money aside for the syndicate
Ha Ha, It was actually two fishing trips and hopefully I can make it out this year with you all. I think a good video of all of us fishing including Sara and Glenn would be sweet! Spring may be busy, busy, busy, but I hope to make it out a couple times.

Nice shots, Benny. Got my “minimalist” box a couple weeks ago and use them regularly. Going to have to add some Y2Ks.

Also, I was wondering how you change split shot if you need to go lighter or heavier.
Hey guys,
You talk about leaders, flies, and rods. My question is what fly line do you use? A regular WF 2wt or a special euro nymph line.
dominic regos great question i personally fish the rio “fips” line. Great sensitivity but wears out very fast!

Lively Legz/Living4theoutdoors Thank you guys. That explains everything now lol. I’ll be making a few adjustments this winter when using egg patterns

Hey guys! I love your flies! Quick question...what color y2k's were you using?
Thanks Daniel and it was a combo of the Rainbow, Light Roe/ Salmon Egg and the Egg/ Light Roe. Hope all is well and you are enjoying some water.
Where y’all at in pa my local streams are muddy, beaver, fishing, codorus
Nice Dreamz710 mostly central Pa I live near Ebensburg pa so i fish locally some and a lot in the central part of the state. Thanks for watching

Is that a Kane Big Buck contest shirt?
What river is this? It looks really familiar.
Near central Pa. thanks for watching.
Are you all bottom bouncing? (Tight lining)
chad tokowicz we are just enough weight added to “tick” the bottom
Looks a lot like a stream I fish in Cameron County
RoyaltonRaceShop 717 love Cameron county but this was near the center of the state. I have a camp in Cameron! Great area
Those Trout look undernourished big time. They look more like Snakeheads than Trout.
How could I not sub this ?
do you guys use a wff line or a euro specific line
iron mike dont mess arpund with his hoom sets😂😂🤣love your videos and products
