The sound editing needs a lot of work. The music is too loud, it’s hard to hear the commentary/narration. In fact I gave up on watching it because I can’t understand what’s being said, the music is too much.

Background music is very distracting and overpowers the voice over.

It would've been nice to watch if the background music wasn't so distracting

I didn’t even know Dugongs even existed until very recently. They’re essentially the same as Manatee’s in appearance with slightly different tails, but geographically they’re as far apart as you can get. London, uk

I can't hear the commentary for the music! It's awful music too! One minute in and I have to stop watching.

I know this is a old documentary because of the headphones from a cassette player, but omg the music over him talking is annoying it’s so hard to hear what he is saying. With all the editing technology you would think the music would be lower or even removed I am at the 25 minutes and I can’t watch it anymore because I can’t hear him.

How is this related to the Manatee that seek protection in Florida’s hot springs in the winter.
We were told that the big scars are left by motors.

They have to be related to Manatees.

Are the dugongs gentle like our manatees are?? I adore the manatees. They are so curious and gentle and the calves are delightful. our manatees nearly all have scars on their backs from boat propellers. Even some of the calves have scars.

That shouldn't have to be a regular thing in their lives. People need to slow down in dugong and manatee zones!!!

There's a genetic evidence that claims that the Dugong has evolved from the land mammals.

Started off enjoying this documentary until it turned dark and showed the people hunting the Dugongs. That was terrible to watch.

Agreed. I started thinking, "why am I watching this". I thought this was supposed to be about the amazing dugongs, not what's for lunch.

I had to stop watching this when it got to dugongs being hunted. i make no apologies for saying that I don't give a **** when it comes to indigenous peoples maintaining their culture by hunting and killing marine mammals. We tread on eggshells and bend over backwards to avoid "offence" to indigenous peoples, when any offence to them is hugely eclipsed by the barbarity of slaughtering these beautiful creatures. I'll probably be accused of racism for saying this, but to do so would be to completely miss the point - it's the same as how condemning the horrors of Asian live animal markets is sometimes labelled as racism.
