    I got the uni-ball as my first mechanical pencil. I bought it only because it was the most expensive and I figured that meant it was good lol. But it wasn't until I used a different mechanical pencil that I realized how good it really is. Would definitely recommend to everyone

    I got a few Kuru Toga -- one gun metal, one stainless, one just plastic -- I use it for everything. I still use pencils but having one pencil to carry around is great. I see where the Kuru Toga leads are harder core and softer outer cylinder so I got some and seems they are superior, but i got PENTEL too and haven't compared yet. Great information. Your sound and video are great, too.

    Hey, quick question!
    Is architecture at uni focused more on the creative side of building design, or the technical engineering side?

    • @DanBeardshaw
      @DanBeardshaw  6 років тому +25

I am currently 14 and just by looking at those 2 full drawings you drew with just that led pencils makes me feels weird. Should I be jealous of how good your art it? Should I feel more confident that one day I would draw just like you? Would this motivate me to follow my dreams to be an artist? Will this career give me alot of money while having alot of fun with art? How do artist, earn so much money, because art is such a different topic from other jobs.

    I'm planning on buying a set of Kuru Togas for drawing and drafting as a personal hobby. Most of reviews I've seen say a disadvantage of the Kuru Toga is it's spongy, mushy and some said even wobly, which might be offputting to me as I intend to do small scale fine-detailed drawings. Snce you also seem to do drawing and drafting, did you experience this issue? How'd you compare it to a fixed tip mechanical pencil? Thanks again for the video.

    • @shroomjak200
      @shroomjak200 3 роки тому

      I got it today i have found that for the rotating mechanism to turn the lead, i would have to apply slightly more pressure, enough pressure to make bold black lines. So dont expect the mechanism to turn if you are using it softly.

    I've Benn using the Uni-Ball Kuru Toga for over 2 years now and I honestly don't really SEE any difference of the line. I mean you can feel the consistency, but you can't see it at all/barely see it. The auto lead rotation isn't really useful for consistent lines, but the lead protecting is amazing. The uni-ball kuru toga is great. But it honestly doesn't' do much. I would much rather have the graph gear 500. Just my opinion though. Also, I am a big fan of this pencil.
