    You are the only PDR channel that actually knows and understands how and why you use each method and equipment and understand the science behind how a dent is formed and how and the best way to reverse it. many other techs just pull from the center which i also thought in the beginning was the best and most logical way to begin until i saw your videos

    I had a nasty dent in my tailgate and had a cool, local pdr guy fix it. He let me watch and now I’m hooked on this. Been watching videos for weeks. I did pick up a cheap kit, but I was able to fix a new ding in my front quarter panel to about 90 percent.
    I’ve been wrapping cars and doing vinyl installs for over 20 years and I’m tired of it and bored with it. I wish I got into pdr instead. I’m gonna check into your online training and might sign up for it.

    I’m active duty military so in class instruction isn’t feasible for me so I’m considering joining the yearly package for the online training on dent trainer. Do you think I can learn the basics online??

    The very first thing I see in majority of PDR videos is ego, a huge ego of the technician.

    Is Superior Auto Institute a good PDR school? They’re reviews look good

    • @denttime

      I would highly recommend seeking genuine references from past students who are now successfully earning a living from their business websites. Ensure you ask insightful questions. Evaluate if the training has benefited more than just one individual. Always be wary: if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Quality PDR training shouldn't be brief or inexpensive. The experience should be personally challenging yet rewarding, ensuring that you never leave feeling uncertain or lacking in confidence.

    I was scammed by a “PDR school”? in Paducah Ky. But fortunately I was blessed enough to find a PDR Tech retiring and was able to get thousands of dollars worth of tools very inexpensive.🙌🙌🙌

      I’ve heard of that guy. Was he on a farm and you trained in a barn like atmosphere?

    • @roberthummel5576

      @@denttime I don’t think it was a farm, but he did have a garage that he trained in and his website was misleading because he advertised a state of the art training facility, and when I got there, his hummer and Corvette was parked in the state of the art training facility and he trained in the garage with just very rogue door stands and no tool curriculum it was horrible

      He just handed me a tool and I practiced for five days, at a thousand dollars a day! Hell I could’ve done that at home. All the while he sat his *%^ over there at the table doing God knows what on the computer, and when I asked him to show me how he fixes a dent, he told me “He doesn’t get paid to fix dents, He gets paid to teach how to fix dents.”🤨 I then told him if he didn’t give me my money back, $8000 for eight days I was going to call the sheriff. And he sent his wife to get me a cashiers check for $8000. The only thing good that came out of that was I was smart enough to take my mountain bike up there and rode on some trails in western Kentucky called land between the lakes State Park 😂 but that was over three years ago. I ended up teaching myself how to do it and getting paid at the same time with good old O.J. T. I just celebrated three years in business October 6, 2023. And I started this business right in the beginning of Covid. And I have done phenomenally well.

    I paid 8,000.00 for eight days and by the 5th day I realized it was a scam and I threatened to call the Sheriff department and I wanted a refund and by the end of the day I had my eight thousand dollars back. Thank God I took my Mountain bike with me or it would’ve been a wasted trip/vacation lol…

      @@denttime as I mentioned, thank God I took my mountain bike and was able to ride at the land between the lakes mountain bike trails. But I did lose my hotel money and the fuel going up there. Like you said on your show, it was just a vacation. and unwanted at that.

      @@denttime absolutely! He sat his fat ass over on the sidelines at a table the whole time, and gave me one tool and said, go ahead and practice. After the third day, I was so livid because I knew that I could’ve practiced at home. Then I finally asked him to show me how to fix a dent and he got mad at me and said he didn’t get paid to fix dents he got paid to train me how to fix dents. Thank God I have enough experience in the body repair industry to see through his scam. Because most people wouldn’t have.

      @@denttime it’s been a few years but I’m pretty confident I even contacted the Better Business Bureau there in Paducah Kentucky and also contacted a lawyer here locally in South Carolina but he said I would need to get a lawyer in Kentucky so I didn’t pursue it further. So, after purchasing tools off marketplace, I’ve been self teaching myself for almost 3 years and I’ve been doing quite well. But I often think it would be nice to have some advanced finishing training. I also have a bunch of tools that I have no idea what they are for lol…

    • @denttime
      @denttime  9 місяців тому +2

      I completely understand that. Thanks for sharing your experience. As for other training, I would still consider thinking about denttrainer.com. Specifically watch the course called Ground Zero Pdr Training. It will explain a lot about the tools, usage and on what panels. May you have continued success. 😉
