Where to ride in California during winter

- Some of my favorite days go like this. A little glimpse of what we do while we're both home in California. A cruise out to one of the local Mtb spots is always so fun! We haven't been to Santiago Oaks in quite sometime so it was nice to get out there and experience all of those amazing trails. There are so many incredible trails in Orange County it's hard sometimes to decide where to go ride next.

Like the rear facing camera, think more videos with multiple riders should be filmed this way as it gives a different perspective than most use.
Nice runs. I usually end up climbing Coach Whip after descending Cactus. Then make my way over to Hawk or Grasshopper, up Goat then down Chutes.

The Flow Trail is in the Soquel Demonstration Forest in the SC mtns above Aptos.
Fort Ord is about 30-40 minutes south and is military base in Seaside

I’m starting to agree with you after being in the central coast area now for a few months(other then the record rains that have destroyed trails!) CA has so much to offer….but but but I’m kind of partial to Arizona for my pure winter riding!

No, no no @HeatherMunive. In winter, you need a fat bike. Then you come ride at York Hill Farm in New Sharon, Maine. After that, check out the other great winter biking across ME, NH & VT from there. PS: Coax Roger to come along too.❄

Hey Heather, good video. Have you ridden Fullerton Loop? I'd love to see your take on that one.. I got a new mtb yesterday. Kinda simple but it's predecessor was a 27 year old Trek (both hardtails) and this one is WAY better than the old timer. I'm planning on going up there as soon as I get the tires slimed. Anyway, have a good day :-)
Fullerton Loop is a green trail with lots if in and out on streets , not a very interesting video.

Not a coffee addict so can you explain why you drive to get expensive shop coffee instead of making it at home where you are cooking breakfast anyway? I mean you probably have what you need like a pot, cups, filter, etc.

I make coffee at home all the time. But some mornings its nice to support local coffee shops and enjoy a nice coffee outside of the house.
