Lynda, I was very surprised myself at how well this worked. Try it on other fabrics. I've also printed several colors of blue on indigo dyed fabric and it was fabulous!
@@AngieEKnowlesTextileArtistry I'm doing a video and post about this but just using stencils. You and your channel are mentioned. However, I still need to finish the video before they are posted. Instead of black I'm using other colors. Thanks for the inspiration.
Tried this and loved it! Keep those suggestions and tips coming, Angie.
Thank you Cathy! So glad you found this helpful and would love to see your pieces.
Neat idea Angie! I like the way you’ve turned a stencil into a screen too. Thanks for sharing this idea.
Thank you Jeanne! I hope you try the stencil idea. It has been one of my favorite ideas I've come up with.
Love the black on black Angie…thanks for this process video & the link to your screen stencil video…I had forgotten about that nifty idea
Thank you Bonnie. Don't forget about that! You need to give it a try.
Angie, This is great! I had no idea the black would work on black fabric. I can't wait to try this. Thanks!

Very interesting technique! Is your clear transparent base gloss finish, matte finish or satin finish?
Jennifer, I use a clear base designed for fabric. You can use almost any acrylic clear base. Mine is a matte finish.
