Thank you! This was a great and all...But IMO it came across more as sneaky commercial for UAE tourism and not an actual Mark Wiens video. It didn't feel natural at all and everything came across scripted and over produced. Which wouldn't surprise me at all...They are probably don't trust Mark to show their country in the most perfect light and exactly how they want it to look.
You ppl have to understand that in. Dubai everything is top notch"" only the best and the biggest u just got to love that place "" it's very unique. I lived there at one time just beautiful

I think the Dubai tourism guys made a mistake by giving a full production team to Mark. He is best as a one man or 2 and half person show. You know the best thing about Mark is his excited infectious whole face smile. ok. The others are doing an amazing job recording (and extra stuff) but i like the normal videos that you two make for the simplicity and all about JUST the food and people.
Mr Mark is such a genuine person and he’s so respectful to other culture and most important of all he has the ability to make even a dry bread sound so yummy! this episode is so tv show-ish with the upgrades in gears and additional crew but somehow still has the same unique charm that mark has in his videos. the food is mouthwatering as always. spices always make food better! 😋

I prefer Marks own productions personally. This one felt off. This 3-4 man camera crew didn’t quite capture the essence of Mark enjoying the food the way he does on his own. Actually ruined the whole video for me, but I can understand trying it out. The B-roll was fine, but I hope it goes back to Mark doing it, particularly when it comes to trying the food out. Can’t replace greatness.

Love Mark and his special touch to his personal productions. Not that the output of this professional shooting not great. But Mark has his magical touches to his videos. The way he touches food, greeting people, involving his family members and his famous " close eyes ' signature with deep respect to the chefs.
Don't take this the wrong way, but not a fan of the new production. The image stabilization while you r talking has a weird shake ironically and fake depth of field make it look like you r just green screening. Your original video production is better and more natural.
as much as I love watching his travels to try all these amazing foods, I'm most jealous of his metabolism seems like he is able to simultaneously digest and burn off all the calories that he consumes as he eats. I'd be lucky to fit in a single airplane seat after one of these adventures

Everytime we watch your mouth watering vlogs my wife would mention she wish you would wear something different in some of your vlogs like a golf shirt, or a white colored Mark Wiens t-shirt with red pepper or short sleeve shirt when in high end restaurants or 5 star hotel restaurants. I told her because Mark is such a simple guy that's why but, he eats basically where he wants to eat.

I know it’s Dubai and cha-ching, but I prefer your regular filming style. They kind of made you look like you are in front of a green screen in some shots, especially in front of the burger and juice place.
I'm going to state the unpopular opinion. I don't really like the professional team videos. I love it when it's just you and your camera. It makes me feel like I'm there with you, enjoying your meal. And I love your bubbly and wondrous personality in them. The big production loses that great quality. And it makes the video seem like all the other team videos "cough cough Sonny". Anyways, it was fun to see a large production video, but it detracts from what makes your videos the best... You.

The best place to eat, breakfast 🥞 lunch 🥗 and dinner 🥘 is only in Al Mamzar Kebab 🥙, its so beautiful place inside port 🛳 so many delicious 🤤 food 🍱 and mic grill! All Iranian restaurant is there and always busy with so many customers! ❤

Food is not just food, its an experience and its important to exercise because the more you exercise the more you can eat! Healthy people always eat more and feel more satisfied with their meal. It seems mark wiens does it right, he keeps himself healthy so he can enjoy the food, he eats even more and enjoys the sights he sees.
this episode is so tv show-ish with the upgrades in gears and additional crew but somehow still has the same unique charm that mark has in his videos.

I prefer Marks own productions personally. This one felt off. This 3-4 man camera crew didn’t quite capture the essence of Mark enjoying the food the way he does on his own. Actually ruined the whole video for me, but I can understand trying it out. The B-roll was fine, but I hope it goes back to Mark doing it, particularly when it comes to trying the food out. Can’t replace greatness.
Definitely b-roll and editing miss for me as well.

It's not fine. Dubai is a slave-state which essentially uses slave labour in their construction and domestic work sectors. South Asians, South-East Asians etc. people that Mark supposedly cares about. To see Mark just relinquish creative control to Dubai is extremely sad. I wonder if he'd take the sponsorship money if he saw firsthand how Emiratis treat their Filipino and Indonesian domestic workers.
Somehow a sponsored, professionally produced video just gives itself away and can never bring the magic that some of Mark’s old, unplanned videos had.

I love living thru Mark's travel...sometimes I can actually taste the food from his vivid descriptions.
Love Mark and his special touch to his personal productions. Not that the output of this professional shooting not great. But Mark has his magical touches to his videos. The way he touches food, greeting people, involving his family members and his famous " close eyes ' signature with deep respect to the chefs.
Don't take this the wrong way, but not a fan of the new production. The image stabilization while you r talking has a weird shake ironically and fake depth of field make it look like you r just green screening. Your original video production is better and more natural.

Everytime we watch your mouth watering vlogs my wife would mention she wish you would wear something different in some of your vlogs like a golf shirt, or a white colored Mark Wiens t-shirt with red pepper or short sleeve shirt when in high end restaurants or 5 star hotel restaurants. I told her because Mark is such a simple guy that's why but, he eats basically where he wants to eat.

I'm going to state the unpopular opinion. I don't really like the professional team videos. I love it when it's just you and your camera. It makes me feel like I'm there with you, enjoying your meal. And I love your bubbly and wondrous personality in them. The big production loses that great quality. And it makes the video seem like all the other team videos "cough cough Sonny". Anyways, it was fun to see a large production video, but it detracts from what makes your videos the best... You.

The best place to eat, breakfast 🥞 lunch 🥗 and dinner 🥘 is only in Al Mamzar Kebab 🥙, its so beautiful place inside port 🛳 so many delicious 🤤 food 🍱 and mic grill! All Iranian restaurant is there and always busy with so many customers! ❤
