Dude what did you just say 😭 dobyns rods are of the highest quality. They have literally no other rod brand that can compete with them from the 80-300 dollar rod . Dobyns rods have more parabolic bend to them in the blank making them so much better also dobyns rods are rate and made so much better a medium heavy in the dobyns line up truly is a all around rod considering it’s in the middle of a medium and medium heavy . This trend of the rods being a 1/2 action lighter then rated sets them apart from other brands because when you flip and punch heavy baits you get added sensitivity you won’t get in other brands and a lighter blank . Shimano is the only brand that comes close in sensitively to dobyns from personally experience. I like Shimano more on the spinning side but . I have to have both on my boat to fish the same bait because of the way dobyns rods bend and the tip action . The Shimano expride, poison adrena, zodias are all extremely good rods but . I’d take a dobyns over them if , im using bait casting setups dobyns is such a good rod brand . I use finesses stuff on their higher end bait casting rods as well . I can’t do that with a Shimano unless it’s that 650-720 dollar conquest. I think you need to spend that 80 dollars on a colt or 130 on a furry and try dobyns rods out get a 734 in a furry or a 704 . Then compare it to your other rods and see how much you pick up that dobyns rod
I have a 755 and 754 that I still use all the time. I actually like the 754 for Chatterbugging
