Guys, if you're looking to buy a Corsa like this one, just pass. I had it for nearly a year and it gave me so much issues. The one I had was very unreliable. I have a Fiesta ST180 now and it is just so much better. Would say that the ride quality of the Corsa was much better, but other than that, the ST wins hands down
thanks for letting us know, appreciated for being honest I was thinking getting one myself recently but always have little doubts about it but now I think I just going to give a miss. btw what year was your Corsa D turbo ? 2007 or 2009 I heard they had issues here and there
@@killerinstinct2304 Yes, it's the 1.6 Turbo with 150hp/110kw. It drives well, but the performance, in my experience, was unreliable and it had so many issues. Would not recommend it due to unreliability. 2010 model as far as I remember.
@@gysdupreez643 thanks for replying dude yes I'm always concern about the 1.6 vxr turbo engine giving failure problem here and there , but I always wanna to try one so i ended up with a standard 2011 Corsa 1.4 sri 16V Z14ZXP for a learning curve the moment i got it , it already giving me small issues so i ended up changing coil pack, spark plugs, oil filters, fuel filter pump and cooling thermostat coil n switches and sensors and a new radiator and cooling fan and all relays and fuse and outlet n inlets hose pipe, so far I done all this myself as I'm still learning as I go along but I might study a vxr down the pipe line and see where it take me but for now the sri will do for a learning project now ..and thanks for being honest dude
Argh feels weird to pay that much for so few performance, compared to a 75-90hp saxo it's not that amazing, but it's so confortable and good looking it makes up for it xD
@@autors799 yeah in terms of overtake and just mid end power it's better i agree. But in terms of 0-100, i did 9,5s in a 2001 75hp Saxo that had broken radiators. Long gears but it pulls kinda "hard" for a 20 years car, nowhere near my motorcycle but it's funny ! And yeah it costs nothing, but the Corsa is like being on a heated sofa, with noise cancelling headphones. It's just incredible to do like 500+ miles trip, only in one go because of the speed limiter..
@@MrGeoffrey1998 i'm agree with you, now i Have Corsa D 1.6T, actually with 190HP and 260Nm torque, 0-100 is around 7secs, 80-120 in 3rd gear around 4 secs, but I delete cats, bigger injectors, and use a downpipe, I'm going to tune next week. Corsa probably get around 225HP and 320-330Nm. Earlier I have, a Clio II 1.2 16V 75HP with few mods. Despite the low power, this car ran quite decently! Low weight, short gears, this can give a fun. And better response to gas, than in Corsa. When you were driving 150km/h you felt like you were driving over 200 :D
0-100 km/h is around 8a, which is not bad, but I always felt like I needed more. 150hp wasn't enough for me. Closer to 200hp is a good number otherwise you'll probably feel like you need more very quickly.

and this corsa destroy the saxo 80-120, 50-90, 50-150 :D Stock Corsa is 100 times more flexible than this saxo, remap, and Corsa gets 210HP
