⌀50mm watch dial test - 12 June 2024

Testing my CNC machine V-carving a ⌀50 dial with the same design using the worst aluminium plate you can find - spraying the area with WD40. The speed is 24,000 rpm, the feed 200mm/min & depth 0.3mm. The V-cutter is ⌀3.175mm/60° - the cheapest you can find on Aliexpress. The result is not bad considering all factors. But the accuracy is excellent .. so this is very good news to making further micro parts once I get the speeds,feeds sorted out and using the correct materials & cutters.
