Hey it is Lake Caroline in Madison, MS. 850 acres.i mostly fish Ugly Stick. I like the ugly stick better than ACC Crappiestick because it has a better reel seat, and you can touch the blank with your finger. Great video footage of your livescope. I can’t seem to see my bait on mine. I’ve been trying a split shot weight above my jig but I may need to use a bullet weight like I saw on your video. What’s your thoughts? Could it be a setting issue?
It could be your settings. I have a link for a 2 min video with my settings in the video description. I would try casting 30 feet from the boat, and watch where your jig hits the water on the screen. The cone is only 20 degrees, so at 30 feet in dead center, you have about 10 feet in the cone. Your jig will fade the closer you get to the right or left border of the cone field. So, at dead center, at 30 feet away, you have 5 feet on the right and 5 feet on the left. The closer you get, the smaller the cone field of view. I think about 7 feet at 20 feet away. Try to a t. I hope it helps. TIGHT LINES!!
Another great video. If I have a thick brush pile vertical standing I am vertical fishing after I had worked the tops. It is fun bringing it through limbs and drop it down the gaps. I fish with clear line and one 10 footer has braid. Sometines that braid helps on quick bites and have better chance before crappie spits it out. When I am snagged, I will point the rod at where it is snagged and put one thumb one the line on the reel and pull straight back. This way I know it is safer for my hand. I have been cut with mono also. Keep up the great videos. Also that sunset was really awesome, and videos does not show the real beauty. Saw a Sunset like that in Mexico once.

Great video. Would love to hear how you position your boat and how you seem to consistently cast directly into the livescope beam. Are there any tips on how to be effective at both? I'm sure the waves and wind can really make it difficult.
Hey, first, thanks for watching!! Best tip is to position your boat into the wind. Then practice casting 10, 20 and 30 or 40 feet away and watch you graph to see when your bait hits the water.
