if you need a 16:9 video what would you have to put in paper size tab > viewport > width ? `leave it at 297mm or ~167. Do we have an option to put ratio ?
For animation you generally shouldn't have to worry about paper size. In the Composer document with your animation active, you should see "Publication Aspect" in the property pane and this can be set to 16:9 format. Paper size is mostly intended for when the views will be printed or formatted directly for print.
