Im 2 weeks post op i sat on the drive home and laid on my back for the messages and my butt has reduced but due to the swelling which eventually it’s going to happen regardless if you sit or not. I’m happy so far with the results and as soon as I can start working out I will to enhance my results. I think your advice is reasonable and it makes sense. I’m not waiting months to sit lol
I’m so glad I saw this video, I asked many people, and my stepmom told me that when she first sat right after her bbl, she lost all the fat, and I found that weird, but then she got another and waited 45 days before sitting, but I’ve looked everywhere and it says from 2 weeks to 8 weeks, thank you for giving your opinion and expertise
I sat a week after surgery using a memory foam pillow...my butt fluffed up pretty quick and don't notice significant volume loss at all other than normal reduction of swelling 😊. There's no scientific evidence whatsoever proving that sitting will damage results
This is legit the worst thing ever. My doctor said 4 weeks, but I’m 10 days in and I’m going insane. I have to sit down I’m sick of all the cushions and faffing around
I’m be a week PO tomorrow add all this extra sleep sitting instructions are crazy… can you feel your butt yet? I’m still super numb but trying to find a good sleeping position is irritating ( I had a TT with my bbl)
Doctor thank you for this incredibly channel and forthright advice! I have a fat transfer scheduled for 12/20, but have a conference for work on January 7th - 12th that will require sitting for long periods of time. Should I bring a special "butt pillow" with me for this time period, or will I be okay to sit on my butt normally by this time?
@@RolandoMoralesJr Thank you so much for this advice Doctor! Please keep doing what you do! You’re inspiring countless people to pursue their dream body!
So I’m almost 2 weeks post op..I work at home they gave me 3 weeks until I can sit but by this you’re saying I can go ahead and start sitting now? I have tried it on my bbl pillow but it hurts my hips and butt?
@brandisewell you will have some tenderness. I will be 9 weeks post off Tuesday. I just started sitting without a pillow intermittently at 8 weeks. I didn't sit upright on BBL pillow until 6 weeks bc it was time to return to work. So, some tenderness or slight discomfort is normal but it goes away
So Doc, I'm scared to death! I've lost over 100 pounds and need help but I have to drive...have to work in an office. Really? A memory foam pillow? That's it!?
Doc,how long should I see bbl results. I did liposuction and bbl 5 weeks ago and iam seeing my butt has, reduced and whenever I wear faja my stomach swells
@@maurinechebet7940 I feel ya, I'm 3 months post-skinnyBBL and I feel like it has reduced... but like he said 6 months for final results so im hoping to have my butt fluff up (fluff fairy).. stay strong sis!
Thank God I saw this. I’ve been on my knees and elbows for almost 2 weeks and my elbows and knees are bruised and my neck hurts.
please sit and have a smoother recovery!
😢 I understand you
Best advice on UA-cam

It's Not about Volume loss, not sitting on your butt is to Prevent Fat Necrosis

What pillow I’m so tired of sitting on the bbl pillow it suck’s I’m a delivery driver for Amazon and I’m supposed to go back to work this weekend
any soft memory foam pillow would work likely
Thaaaaaank you
I didn’t sit for 10 weeks but I used the bbl pillow
so you sat on pillow?
I was sitting on bbl pillow or boppy pillow to drive at one week. I had to drive my kids to school. I am 5 weeks post op. Hopefully all will be ok.
it will
Hello…. do you recommend to your patients that they can sleep on their bottoms on a memory pillow?
sure

When can i sit on hard surfaces?
2 months
So I can sit on my butt right after the surgery?
yes
If you don’t sit on your butt for 6 weeks your butt wl be HARD and you wl have scar tissue. 3 weeks is fine
Hi love can you explain more? How does this happen?
I didn’t sit for 8 wks and my butt is super jiggly 😮
Where did you hear this? The butt is firm but goes soft as time goes on with healing.
Never heard this & how does scar tissue develop in your butt? Typically it's where the lipo was done because there is dead space.
when you get lipo and/or ab etching done is it harder to put muscle on in those areas?
no. not at all
