This is my favorite performance i have seen and heard with her and i've scoured the internet for her :D. I'm usually not a fan of this song at all, but oh my when i heard Morissette sing it, it's just something else. Morissettes voice has some ethereal quality to it that just seem to penetrate my soul every time i hear her sing. Every single time, she make my eyes into a river of tears.

And just to add to that, Even with all that it doesn't necessarily make someone into a great singer / vocalist. Because in order to touch an audience you need to be a phenomenal storyteller as well. And Morissette has it all at a masterclass level. Even in moments of small slipups like when she almost got lost with the piano, she didn't break the vocals in any form. Which is a real testament to how professional she really is. She is undoubtedly one of, if not The greatest female singer on the planet in my book.

You misunderstood what i wrote in my comment.. Because i was praising her singing ability. So before you start to pick on people on the internet, maybe learn english a bit better? Just because you understand the theoretical and technical aspects of it and even if your educational accomplishments was to be true, it doesn't equate to you being a great musician. I have played guitar for 30 years with many artists and performers etc etc, so i think i have a pretty good understanding of music as well. @@brunodemarchi908
