Chad, Another great full episode always good to see the new footage from your features. That must have been some hump getting over to that other lake, you sounded a little winded but I know it’s worth the journey. Shane seems like a funny dude; his snake control is priceless. Those were some huge gators I would have thought to see bigger ones in Florida, but you can’t beat that secluded backwater action.
Being from N. Alabama, I can attest to the fact that gators, while not found just everywhere, are not really concerned with kayaks and canoes. And by the way, it is Wheeler Lake on the Tennessee River... Great video.
FYI they put the gators out there in the 60s to control the beaver population. Now we see gators often out here fishing. Great fishing out by my house.
Since hurricane Katrina, ive noticed gators in waters were they haven't been seen in over a 100 yrs...and I've seen the video of gator leap up on kayak trying to grab the fisherman....one of the main reason I've given up my float tube fishing.
Wilderness Systems makes great products. Mine survived being underneath a truck for a half mile! Still my Tarpon 100 is a bit small and tippy. Possibly more so now after fixing it.
Chad need some help love you Channel man I got four hundred bucks what bait casting reel do I get and Rod I need the rod to be able to do it all anything from pitching to have heavier swimbaits
You guys need to be eating those gators so I don't have to be wearing big boy diapers when I come fishing down there. In the back of my mind I'd be thinking, damn I hope one of these gators don't hit my power pole and this turns into a nat geo episode of fat guys and gators!
04:38 - 04:50 too funny, reminds me of my fishing buddies in high school, lol. Edit - back in the 70's mind you, no photoshop, just lies... all lies. =P
LBF Outdoors we had parts of it before. We are releasing all the full episodes minus the commercials or promotional stuff. For next season there will bonus content, behind the aces E's and other additional original content.
another great video Chad keep up the good work. I can't wait for the weather to get better in Chicago so I could take my Kayak Out

Thank you for the video.
Thanks for watching
if only Shane had a power pole...how many trees did he catch and release that day? Looked like that first pond had a hell of a hike to get back out!
Waylor river. Is that what it sounds like to a yankee when we say Wheeler?
I thought the same thing and damn the gators.
you guys are crazy. I have never even seen a gator, I would have a hard time sharing the water with them.
Haha! I like sitting side saddle on the yak fishing but many places I go it's not a good idea as for them lizards being around!

Surprised the gators aren't eating the fish off your line. Like paying the tax man when you're fishing the salt.
Animals that I don't want around me when fishing:
1. Sharks
2. Gators / Crocks
3. Snakes
4. Bats
Cool. Leaves a lot of places for me to fish

It's the Tennessee River, Wheeler Lake. Calling it Wheeler River reflects poorly on the credibility of the production.
