Thanks for the decklist! I’ve also been on board with magnolia being a tanky deck more than anything, I run energy cyclers, inlets and enlargulv and my hand is able to survive against aquilibra numbers.
The problem with Magnolia being built as a tanky deck is that your aggro is pathetically nonexistant by extension. You can guard all you want if your turn dies to 1 defensive trigger and can't actually close the game because all your attacks are 5-10k guards on average then you end up losing anyways.
Yo! Another awesome decklist! Always find your Magnolia ideas so fun and refreshing to see! Gotta try this out for myself : D Curious question: Does this decklist struggle with soul in your opinion? Maybe I'm too used to having some Inlets in the decklist to keep that up along with card draw, but I find sometimes building a board with Banaspatti and Enlargulv can become quite costly if our soul isn't replenished.
Goildoat continously replenishes your soul every turn once you figure out that you can sequence skills correctly to put 2 souls in goat and call one of them meaning every turn you get +2 soul to afford your effects
@Mojo24717 Goildoat does supplement the soul to a certain degree. More impactful is Lilikkoi since his existence makes you much less dependent on Banaspati and Enlarguv for recursion so you use less soul in general
@@KirbiKnight I'm not at all a fan of the tomato(?) in Elder though, yes it is a drop recursion but you already have about 6 of those already and it is yet another 15k body contributing to Elder's terrible lack of any real aggro problem. 4 out of your 6 attacks should not be shutdown by a single defensive trigger in 2024. Tomato(?) is great in Masques but in Elder it is the textbook definition of "welcome but not actually what we needed".
You could try it but Gabregg's viability tends to very matchup dependent so it won't always be the best. You also tend to not have a lot of extra soul in the deck, especially if you don't get the double goat in drop or can't continually reride

@ that’s why I combat that by calling triggers as boosters. I sacrifice 6 attacks to make 4 stronger ones until my opponent reaches 5.

liked and subscribed! ;)
Do u think teching Gabregg in this build is viable since u running Giusnola and Mayarasi?
