Uploaded 2011 - an important year for me - and only today am I hearing about Dumanoir. Every now and then I discover a new baroque composer and am pleasantly surprised. I hope there are many more out there for me to discover.

Hey, I seriously need to find more music from this Dumanoir dude! This is fabulous! He's another Lully. Where are composers like this today when we need them?
I love this music. When I heard it on one of Savall's CD, I had to get the DuManoir CD and have played it MANY times. This music is especially beautiful!!
Wonderful - anything with the Savall touch is almost magical. I find this music strongly reminiscent of Muffat's Florelegium sets.
Savall used this in the film "Marquise." (with Sophie Marceau). I have always loved this music. Thanks. BRIAN
