I can tell you nearly every manager that lied, cheated, etc. their way to their current position. By that I mean they truly did so on every test, every interview, and every interaction that got them there. Sadly that creates an atmosphere where people like that pat each other on the back and revel in their accomplishments that were unearned.
These people aren’t just buying their way into school. They’ll likely make a hefty payment in exchange for a degree or passing a few classes they failed. And then they’ll make “donations” for life. I’ve seen it plenty of times in the University of California system.
The parents also bribed coaches of universities in order for their kids to get athletic scholarships. Once the kids got the scholarship, they never even showed up for practice.

Besides the endless line of comedians he has on here that's another thing I'm sick of. JRE is literally terrified of showing a pic or clip on this show. I watch videos all over UA-cam that show clips of whatever they want and nothing ever happens to them.
The run of unfunny comedians and the abundance of episodes recently where Joe is clearly stone fucked out of his kind, so much so he can barely have a coherent conversation, is getting old. I'm sure he can't get lots of good guests now, but it seems like Joe has a real drug problem now.

This is why I've always wanted to start a non-profit organization or charity that focuses solely on helping children in lower social-economic regions. I know what it's like to lack the resources needed to fulfill your potential, especially coming from Mexico where you don't eat lunch at school if you don't bring any food with you. People in politics always look up instead of down. Flip the pyramid, and realize those leaders will be gone in 10 years, our society needs to focus on upbringing smart, productive, and compassionate children. I don't have the money to change the whole system but I really wish I could help.

Thus, there’s nothing for them to take away if the student decides not to play the sport when they get to campus, which means they have to admit students that they might otherwise want at the school. Each coach gives the admissions office a list of students they want, and the admissions office decides whether they’re sufficiently qualified to be admitted. They were buying a “spot” from the coach.
