If you use a wooden cutting board your edges will last a lot longer for you plastic tends to be pretty tuff on a knife edge though they tend to be more convenient to use. Love the station knife

Great video! Thinking about getting one of these as my jack of all trades kitchen knife. Question, if this existed before you got your Japanese check knife, do you think this would be your do all knife?

I would still buy the good chefs knife first. the chefs knife is definitely the do all knife. This one is the perfect companion. I also got the benchmade meatcrafter. I think the chefs knife, this one, and the meatcrafter is an incredible trio.

Was just looking at it on BM's website today. It's just crazy overpriced. That thing is a workhorse, though!

I did take advantage of their military discount, that definitely helped. The price is indeed high. So far its been holding the edge and has become my go to knife for most kitchen tasks. The handle is fantastic. I will do a full review soon.

@@LuckyLoonOutdoors Yes. that military discount helps. Is even better when they go on sale at the PX/Navy exchange plus a scratch card to go with it. I paid $78 dollars on a BM Puuko on sale.
