Pearl!!!! I’m sending you ALL of the good luck!!! I can’t wait to see all the epic builds!!! Let’s Go!!!
Just don't look at Endermen! 😱 🖤
hi Sausage
Lol 3rd
Hey Sausage 4th Place
Heyy, Sausage
Impulse in hardcore mode: *stripmines in deepslate to avoid cave mobs"
Pearl in hardcore mode: "LEEEROOOOOY JEEEEENKIIIINS"
did anyone notice on the screen title during intro says "follow the train CJ"
LMAO this is beyond accurate! XD
She's already fearless, and she even got the Australian buff... what else could we expect ?
Scar's video is just him jumping accros cliffs for 10 hours, building a base hanging over nothing
@@TheNamesArif yeah
Pearl going "doink" and "boop" in her Aussie accent when she hits things is all I needed to make my day
is she an aussie? i am a aussie
@@markmaart3731 yooooo, same
Lmao i didnt know she was aussie :D
Has she released which state?
And her "woooooow"
Pearl: You guys choose where you want me to build... Also pearl: amazing cinematic view of the valley at the end of the episode *wink wink hint hint*
The island within the mountains would actually make for such a cool base tbh !! and is more convenient for resources, and less grind worthy to build bases in compared to the cave
Tru that generation looks hella dope, and there's a village nearby, it's perfect!
The second location is great. The snowy mountains are a beautiful backdrop to any build. A lush Cave base would be a great option, too.
That thing just screams for a 'pearl' bridge.
Pearl's going gaga over the cave she found but wait till she comes across the lush caves and dripstone caves... she's gonna be speechless
Pearl mentioned in the mineshaft, that glowberries doesn't generate anywhere, I am excited when she finds a lush cave
Spoiler much...
@@Coyt415 how?
@@Coyt415 Actually, no?
@@Coyt415 watch the video before reading comments if you don't want spoilers.
The mountain feels like a perfect location for your builds. Whatever you go with, I can't wait to see!
I love how pearls accent just changed rapidly every sentence! Love you pearl you’re an amazing inspiration!
I’d definitely choose the mountain. There is a gorgeous ledge just big enough for a starter base on the mountain itself and it would look amazing to have a town on the island with bridges connecting to other builds on the mountains. I just think that it’s an absolutely beautiful piece of terrain and it would be a waste to not build there!
Definitely pick the second location!! Spruce + close villages is all you need. That said, I also suggest you look around that area and see if there are any interesting caves there too. Maybe you can make a little surface base and then a bigger settlement underground
Just don’t forget the leather boots and horse armor before you explore the snowy mountains. If not, it is always fun to watch the panic.
Can you imagine big bridges connecting all those large mountains with a town at the bottom and top. I’d go outside to that beautiful landscape…course you’ve already decided…let’s go see what that decision was!❤️
Glow berries do naturally spawn now, with moss and spore blossoms in lush caves
Here’s my thinking on base location. You’re more likely to survive living on the mountain. If you survive long enough then you can build in both locations, so my vote for starter base goes to the mountain. Also a name idea for the tuxedo cat: Memory
Or if she does stay in this cave she needs to light up the roof. it just needs to not be zero light up there so thing don't fall on Pearl's head (trust me they will do that and kill the run.) the mountains would be safer for a starter house but the little underground place would be could as another base for later.
Hi pearl I realy wanna join you!
I am thinking that if you walk over the mountains, there can be an grove biome (that BTW is really beautiful as well), and there can be some good caves down below the mountains that are massive as well, but absolutely mountains. 100% mountains.
100% team mountain! having a village nearby is important + the forest next to it is just the seed calling for a starterbase there
If she keeps the lava and maybe uses some of it elsewhere in the cave she can keep the cave lit up.
I LOVE the island in the lake. It’s exactly what you wanted, but without the having to light up everything stress
The Island reminds me of Scandinavian countries and it's just so beautiful!
It's just begging for a medieval castle, it's got a ready-made moat and everything!
i love that island by the mountains you found, imagine having a bunch of bridges to the surrounding cliffs! even if you don’t put your base on it, would you be able to show the coordinates of that island?
She shows them at 27:06. -3234, 110, -3621 (well, that's about a stone throw away). Bridges were the same thought I had, so I hope she goes with that. Looks fun!
@@jameskelsey3759 not all heirs wear capes thank you 🙂
I like the mountain biome with the villages. 1.18 has caves everywhere so there will still be opportunities for cool underground builds.
Pearl's sound effects are going to make this the most adorable hardcore series, aren't they?
Absolutely
Heck yea
oh yeah
a *bop* for you and a *bonk* for you!
Yes
It seems like a lot of Hermits are starting single player hardcore series.
I reckon that break will help Season 9 be even more awesome.
Agreed, I think it'll help a lot of people avoid burnout from hermitcraft
yes... they need some time for the creative break
What if their single world are actually s9
A little sus if u ask me
@@euro2928 made
Do the mountain!! it made you so happy! you'll find other cooler caves later, trust me. Maybe even some under the mountain!
I’d love to see a whole village in the caves, haven’t seen anyone really do it in survival
Seems this is Caves AND Cliffs, I vote for both. There might be a cave system below the mountain, and it’d be a crime to not check it out.
So much this!
I agree!!
And it might be a lush cave!
@@TheRealPandanimal Yes! Can’t wait to see Pearl stumble upon a lush cave!
Cave under the mountain!!!
Honestly i'd love to see you base in the cave. A lot of people are currently basing in mountains and such, and it'd be really neat to see someone transform a cave system like that one. I'd reccomend maybe making a second base at the mountain range later, once you've settled a bit more.
I would love to see you build in the mountains, that area you found at the end was very beautiful. You could do a base cave later on, in one that's way cooler than the one you found
I would love to see her build in the cave, that area you found was very cool. You could do a base mountain later on, on one that's way more beautiful than the one you found
the caves in this seed are beautiful, in my world where I have a couple dozen hours of playtime I have never seen such nice and big caves
Pearl: "Go away! I don't want you!"
The spider: *sad noises*
always a good day when i hear “hello everyone, my name is pearlescent moon, and welcome back…”
couldn't agree more!
yessss
Yass
Idea: Make a water elevator disguised as a pillar to the surface, and disguise the water elevator on the surface with a termite mound.
Genius
I'd love to see the incredible builds you'll come up with in the 1.18 mountains! Maybe the caves could be something to build in the future after getting more comfortable and settled into the world ? (since a creeper could drop on you out of nowhere)
Sending you luck and hope to see this world turn into something beautiful!!
The island with the mountains would be perfect for a base! I can’t wait to see your beautiful builds!
I vote for the second location, building in that second location and have a deep cave base in that area as well. Would love to see the upside down boat house return in this series
I recently discovered you, and I’m really excited for this series!
I am so glad I checked out this channel because you remind me of two youtubers that used to play minecraft together a lot until they stopped and then I watched mumbo and got into hermitcraft. After season 8 ended I decided to watch your channel and I am glad I am watching you because I missed the feeling that those two youtubers gave me so I am definitely watching you in season 9!
I’d love to see a house up top on the island of the second location, and a village in a cave below the second location! I just would love to see what you can do underground, something new and unique for you!
I 100% vote for the second base location, that island is absolutely beautiful! I could picture a huge castle there with bridges connecting to the land and village houses around it
We may need this series with face cam, Pearl. Your reactions are amazing.
Can't wait to see how the events of this series unfolds :D
Also, I reckon you should call the tuxedo cat Mr. Tux,
along with the river-surrounded island area for a base perhaps?
Definitely the mountain it’s just so pretty, I have 3 different worlds and all of them I’ve made sure to build in a mountain or a valley surrounded by mountains.
There’s impulse nice and slow and on edge playing his hardcore world, then there’s Pearl haha what a way to start a new year 😀
Pearl’s got diamonds on her first episode and taking a buncha risks then impulse is just chillin
And Beef has started a hardcore world as well.
Just means no HC for a long while
she's the most fearless minecraft player i know
@@iz723 yeah, but at least they are still uploading. Plus, there is Empires.
I have to say, the island surrounded by mountains just looks perfect to build a base
This might just be the best start for a minecraft hardcore series i've ever seen.
If anyone want to live in a cave I would really recommend a lush cave. It’s pretty and you don’t have to light up very much since it’s already pretty lit up from the glow berries!
I think the landscape with snow capped mountains and frozen peaks along with meadows and a canyon just has so much potential for building!!!
What an amazing seed, the mountain area looked beautiful.
the way pearl makes wood and stone tools sets off my fight or flight instinct
The mountain area seems so much like a good idea... Can't wait to see something bloom there beautifully.
Definitely the mountain! Much better area and much more survivable!
I agree, pearl should setup base there
Remember that mobs now only spawn at light level 0 so lighting won’t be too much of a problem, also render distance will be fine if simulation distance is low. I play with that on minimum bc all it does it make entities and stuff work in the distance but I’m fine with pig statues for 5 chunks 😂
Is it still a 0 light level? For some reason I thought that was changed
@@emjay2586 it was reverted for one of the snapshots, but in the final build, the change was implemented to prevent spawning above light level 0.
@@AlfredEiji OH that's good, I was pretty disappointed when they reverted it
I like how even though youre rusty at survival youre re-learning pretty quickly and not afraid to step out of your comfort zone
You have GOT to build in the island valley!! You could build roads between the mountain and canyon village, sort of like a supply line, and put caravans along it with mules pulling, because you already have donkeys and horses! I'd love to see something done with the cave, too; maybe a mine or something that's sending supplies to the castle, maybe two different areas for different materials and build styles. But that valley, river, snow-capped mountains... you really have the best of both worlds here, definitely hope the series lasts a long time to let you use it.
Mom loves these videos, it helped me get her into Minecraft, which is really cool. She says "hi".
Definitely landscape, Pearl.
And also, due to the new change in mob spawning mechanics you can space out your torches a lot further away and conserve them since even Light Level 1 will suffice to prevent hostile mobs from spawning. It also means you can use redstone torches in small areas.
nice advice
Man…. I was so excited to see pearl make something amazing in that cave, cause I think if anybody is gonna pull that off well, it’s pearl….. however… I think the best thing to do is build on that mountain, have the villages near by, and then hopefully there’s a cave nearby that she can doll up as she progressses. That’s my ideal Pearl’s Hardcore Series
Big fan of ppl starting a new solo hardcore world in the new update, takes me back to 2011 days of minecraft youtube and nostalgia is always a nice feeling.
Things used to be so much more relaxed, simpler and slower paced back then and I think I've kinda been missing that.
And personally I would 100% build on the mountain island spot, not only are the surroundings gorgeous and is there spruce nearby, but it is also the exact kind of spot I personally love building on.
Building on the center island with bridges going outward would be so beautiful!
I really think you should move Pearl. You can find a cave near that mountain thats as good if not better, I guarantee it. Cave generation is insane in 1.18, and Caves like that are Everywhere. Theres no reason, whatsoever, you should have to settle with one or the other when you can have both.
More than likely better, like a lush cave, one of my new favorite bioms.
@@timwoods2852 I love the lush caves they nailed those except for one thing I think they should have made a special little tree that grows in them that way you could really live and thrive below ground. If they were like short willowy trees because they can't really grow real tall but they could have like azalea leaves only using glow berries and the leaves kinda glow like lichen. Or maybe I'm just crazy I still love it all the same.
I was literally coming on to say the same thing... Personally if be checking the cave generation below that snow capped mountain and looking at if its possible to link a base above and below ground there
Pearl: "Glow berries don't generate naturally"
Lush caves: .-.
"I don't believe"
@@andrejosue98 Still I think its funny because one of the main things in this update was the lush caves
That’s why so many Hermits are playing Survival series. This gives them a chance to enjoy and reconnect with the basics of the game and just be awed have fun!
Goodness dear Pearlo, I can't handle all the silliness. No more booping the piggly wigglies. You cut that out. I'm going to perish. Thank you for upholding the Australian heritage of battling spiders though, does me proud, such a class act.
I'd like to see you work the caves into your base, but I can understand wanting someplace safe. Why not build something into a cave roof, and have it come out topside? Might be a nasty bit of a first step, but think of the view! Make it a paradise, lava oceanside territory, it's better than a ham sandwich. Etther way, you do your best out there. Do a little everything. We're here for it. Cheers
I just met this channel and i'm already in love! Can't wait to see more!
Definitely the island landscape, I can only imagine the builds you can do with that landscape!
I concur
That mountainy terrain you found is some of the coolest new generation I've seen so far. I hope you decide to build there. The cave you found is nice but it also limits you a bit in size and style. I vote for the surface base.
I'll never not get amazed at the new terrain generation!! Love the mountains, and I'm sure pearl's amazing building talent will make for a great base in one of those places ^^
That hill in the middle of the rivers you showed at the end of the episode looks like a fantastic location!
Considering big caves are plentiful in this update, I think you could settle in the 2nd location for a start, and then explore the underground area to see if the caves are to your liking. I definitely think the 2nd location is more convenient resource-wise compared to the initial one near the spawn.
That mountain in between the winding river screams for a fantasy castle pearl, you have all the wood types, you obviously need villagers sometime or another, you favourite spruce biome is nearby, you can set up a nether portal to your original location so both of your dreams can come true
Hey Pearl!!!!
I like the second location for a base as the back drop is beautiful!
Who knows, you may get lucky and find an epic cave under that little island 👌🏻
Pearl. The island keep surrounded by cliff faces would be the perfect place to set up. Especially with the easy access to villagers and such for your town.
Hey Pearl! You should do two separate 'kingdoms' - one underground, and one aboveground!! you could also make one Dwarvish and the other Elvish for additional contrast of styles!! That way you dont have to choose, hehe ;)
I will say the that Island looks like an EPIC place for a castle or fortress tho 👀
But ahhh I want to see an underground village/town/kingdom so badly too!
Solution- do both! 😈
ye that's a good idea cuz I really want a UA-camr to also live fully in a cave, like me
A Fort protecting the entrance to the Fjord the villagers built in. Now we have some lore for the build as well.
Don't forget to have leather boots for travelling through the snowy environments, due to powered snow. Also, a mountain base might be a good idea to start with - you can always expand to have a cave base later on.
Honestly feels so refreshing to listen to a fellow Australian do these series! I'm super excited to see where you are at!
Ty Pearl for turning the brightness up it helps so much when watching when u explore caves
SCENIC LANDSCAPE 100%. although, the caves do have some interesting limitations, and give the ability to play with lighting.
The mountain area would be perfect for the first base, then she can build in the cave as a seperate build/base, and link them through the nether
Yeah! Like have the cave as the main project and the mountain area as like a "humble beginnings" type of place. So as the starter-like and then the cave village project! ^^
"Hello"
Creeper: drops down "Hello there"
Pearl: doesnt say "General Kenobi"
Creeper: "My dissapointment is immessurable and my day is ruined"
Pearl: kills said creeper
I think I just pinned down what I like about you Pearl. You've got as much attention to detail and extravagance in your builds as Grian, but you also have the unbridled enthusiasm of Stressmonster.
The way you absolutely gush over pet animals is a contagious source of serotonin. You make me smile!
Pearl, hear me out. Island. Bridges. Also, you're editing made you look like such a scatterbrain, I love it
Woo! Great start with the two Jellies! As for the other cat, i know a reallly cute tuxedo cat who's called Splash because he looks like he's been splashed with paint (and rather fittingly, he's been spotted swimming across a river without a care)
It would be so cute if you named your extra cat after him!
Pearl, you are such a runner, and i mean that with praise! you always just bolted in last life and when mobs showed up here you ran away again! its so refreshingly sensible! my heart is at ease watching you run and jump to safety ^_^
I’d love to see what you can do with that cave! I feel like that beautiful landscape you found at the end is the expected choice, I’m sure you could put it through an amazing transformation but I’d love to see how you cope with the challenges of that cave.
Based on what I’ve encountered in my world cave-wise; take the mountain for now. You can always expand to the caves later, and there’ll be way more epic ones than the one you’ve found so far. Either way, very excited for the series!
Build on that island, it's so beautiful. And there is for sure a nice cave nearby for a side project.
Pearl the absolute insanity of you tackling a massive cave right off the bat oh my god you madlad
Cannot wait to see how the rest of this series goes!
I think the mountains it looks really great with the snow biome in the distance as well
I would reeeeeally like to see you build on the Snowcapped Mountains, your style really suits the biome. Also all Lush Cavey things like Glow Berries and Spore Blossoms are found in Lush Caves, a new biome.
First off all, yay! New Series by Pearl!
Second of all, I think a starter base by the mountain and villages is a good idea, the cave city and "mansion" on the lava lake could be made later on.
In either case, good luck with this new world! :D
What a great episode, loved your energy and watching you explore and discover! Truly the australian way, not only spiders but also drop-mobs :) I'd really love to see both a base in that terrain you found at the end, as well as a cave base, but if I had to choose I'd probably vote cave base because it feels more unique. Excited to see what you do either way!
Between the birch forest nestled in the savannah valley and the cavern with the mineshaft, and so many other features, this seed has some unbelievable generation!!
That island surrounded by water in the landscape looks amazing! I could imagine a village on there with a bridge and stuff 😀
Although the second location is really pretty, a lot of hardcore players are going for the same kind of mountainy areas and it would be nice to see something different. I think you should settle in the first location.
She should check for caves nearby the second location. The cave in the first location was alright, but there are many caves just as cavernous.
As awesome as that cave was, that island surrounded by mountains is amazing and I can picture it becoming something epic! Very excited to watch you play!
"3000, almost 4000 blocks from home" *chuckles in 2.1km walk to my main bus stop*
Pearl: I don’t think glow berries spawn naturally
Lush caves: aM i a jOke tO yOu?
Feedback: Don’t die this is a great series!
Wow… great feedback 👍🏼 I was being sarcastic
I was just in a massive lush cave with a multi level mineshaft… absolutely beautiful!
Some of the new areas are so amazing!
I can’t wait to see what you do in this world. 🤗🤗🤗🤗
What a fantastic start! Can't wait to see all you build!
Honestly, both that area, and the cave se started in, look amazing!
If possible, link them up via the Nether, and do both. Start which is easiest of course.
I'd loooove to see some dark fantasy / grimey industrial vibes in that cave.
(Think Piltover, in case you've watched Arcane on Netflix)
I loveeeee this video, it's like watching a braver version of me bouncing around the landscape, love it! I vote for the 2nd location, it's got so much going for it - and you can always build a secondary build in the other cave - but I think you'll be even happier if you find a lush cave instead :)
Watching Pearl's food bar going down at the beginning, I was just yelling "Pearl you need to eat!"
I would love to see you settle down in the mountains! Such a beautiful landscape 😍
The island nad mountain area you found seems so cool, with the villages and all! You can find a cave almost anywhere, perhaps even below the mountain area?! We want a mountain side village!!!
I really like the idea of going to the mountain location and creating both. I love the options for the above ground already there. :)
pearl makes it sound so innocent when she BRUTALLY SLAUGHTERS POOR SHEEP: TIME: 2 MINUTES
Thank you for great content love to see passion :) Looking forward
