Man im so glad I never dismantled any of the old pinnacle weapons. Things like the Oxygen SR3 and Breakneck are actually so good in PVP and PVE, perfect allrounder weapons.
I’m no sidearm expert but I can’t deny Trespasser is insane.
My fav sidearm in PVP
Buzzard is good. I prefer it over rat king.
i use sidearms a lot and trespasser is one of my favorites, not just because it is super powerful in the right situations but also because it is super satisfying whenever you get a kill with the superburst and the enemy disintegrates into arc energy.
Never forget people, these guns are great at base. What makes them amazing is being in the hands of a skilled player. I, am not that player. Good advice, no bloat. This comment and upcoming like are well earned.
I disagree…an auto rifle doesn’t take much skill.
Any auto fire weapons side arms auto rifle sub machine guns in my opinion don’t take that much skill to be amazing.
@@jacobmcginnis6935the gun itself its amazing but if you are not good you are not gonna shine because many other players also have great weapons, yes an auto rifle doesn’t takes much science, but making smart moves, gave good aim, good movement, etc does take skill and thats what differentiate you from other people using that same weapon
I don’t have much skill and use an auto rifle. I get slapped all the time by a skilled player using literally anything.

Also, I don't know if anyone has tried out Rat King since this update but the recoil got buffed for PC players but also it made it better for controller as well.
yeah rat king is insane. I rock a prismatic build that uses the invis with that fragment that boosts class ability regen. Marksman dodge and wintershroud and spectre.
I play both platforms and I still agree with that it’s more easy to play on controller for Sidearms

You should give sightline survey a shot. It’s a 180 but enhanced precision instrument lets it 3 tap 5 resil and under and any slight damage bonus (like bakris) lets it 3 tap all resil. It’s a really slept on hand cannon.

I have a rose with slideshot, and snapshot and I love it with duality. Rose is insane
I have that roll but rose has such high handling I feel like snap is wasted on it
I die a lot from Roses, 2 tapped. I have no idea the roll on that 🤣 but I want it.

@@YoHester naw, I’ve come across quite a few low level players with roses that are 2 tapping. I’ve played destiny long enough to know when I’m getting shot from a different direction. I’m going to guess they are cheaters with damage modifiers.
one of my favorite build is crafted syncopation with enhanced zen moment and enhanced headseeker with trespasser and mask of bakris. Never have to worry about special

Yeah high velocity I believe is the best now in that slot
I had someone comment that on one of my uploads a while back. Swapped to spikes and instantly paid off.

Trespasser is my favorite exotic weapon for PvP I think, feels so so good to me

For more sidearms I really enjoy trespasser or the buzzard if you can get a good roll, if your aim in on its is hard to miss with trespasser, and the buzzard is in the same archetype as drank so it’s essentially a kinetic drang
Been usin Claws of the Wolf since it came out last week, and its just crazy good. Headseeker killclip just lets u shred through ppl :D

Are older weapons still good? Felwinters? Main ingredient? Seems like they still do very well.
Some are useable not gonna be the best options. A lot of stuff has been power crept
this might sound so 2018, but my favorite is my pepetual/opening shot Rose with 73 range and 72 handling before perk procs.
with perpetual and opening shot, the thing is pushing 97 range, 67 stability and 92 handling. It's a monster!

it's still good, slightly tougher to control recoil on roller but it's still a lazer, especially on mnk

hey, been running thorn + matador for a while now. every now and then i'll swap to the khvostov. hawkmoon is also amazing but it's currently still disabled
Have you checked out patron of lost causes? It apparently rolls with to the pain and eye of the storm together, and I think that scout could be aimbot for controller along with having precision instrument as a 4th perk
Yes! I have that roll right now and it does extremely well
if you run elemental capacitor arc, you can get 100 range and 100 handling with someday
Sometimes I feel like I mostly play for PVE so whenever I get a weapon with a decent looking PvP roll I’ll just keep it! Wicked implement definitely my favorite for long distance in PvP. That scope just allows me to get headshots all the time. If only I can put that scope on everything else lmao
Burden Of Guilt is the best PvP fusion rifle in the game IMO. It has the best base stats of all adaptive frame fusions.

Yeah it’s not bad it’s like a good beginner gun , it’s just never gonna be like top gun in the game or anything
Final warning has been one of the most slept on sidearms since its release
definitely Hawkmoon. for some reason it is the only exotic hand cannon that seems to work for me
I think I'm pretty settled on Iggy/Luna/Summoner/Drang and Chappy/Defiance/and I just got the new Kinetic Precision. The ammo swap modifier makes me not wanna swap slots in matches, but Rose and Mercurrial 5/5's feel so good as well...
Do you think Exalted Truth or Immortal adepts still compete? Or the strand Comp Pulse? I have a Zen Moment Headseeker High Impact Fluted one of that and it feels amazing

Duality will always be my energy slot sg pick. 95 range, 80 handling, and 65 AA with the catalyst. Having a pellet/slug hybrid is too good to pass up. If you are not using an energy primary that is.
You also didn't mention Eye of Sol. Kinetic sniper with low zoom, and really good AA. I have a moving target opening shot roll that sticks to heads like lice.
Yeah I think I have like 20k plus kills on eye of sol it’s one of my favorites for sure
I hope they crank sidearms up for MnK, I dislike controller but love sidearms
I mean for heavys an eager edge sword is still insane imo also uughh if u kept a tap the trigger hammerhead my goodness that small %7 buff did wonders to ease of use the absolutely shred for real now jeez.
I wouldn’t use a sword outside of quickplay, eager edge is also disabled currently in PvP
@@Awake_wl what? Only in 6’s? Ive got like 2.2k on my void eager edge sword and I main the absolute f$&@$ out of it in trials and comp it destroys ppl. U gotta just get used to the angles of how to eager edge safety but its sooOoo good. Personally I have more success with that than the catty gl (I have a nasty roll) but the ammo for it can lead to only 1 kill somtimes and dont even get me started on how many times I’ve killed myself on accident during a heated moment in comp or trials so frustrating. 😂 also I didnt know it was disabled atm Ive been using hammerhead just for fun currently thats funny tho hope that gets fixed soon tho cuz its my fav heavy by far.

I think vex is good for newer players or non pvp players it’s very easy to use. Nechrocasm could be very good I honestly don’t have it. I’ll occasionally see some of the top players using it so it’s probably pretty solid
Only thing I’d argue is that burden of guilt (especially the adept version) is the best fusion, maps very consistently

@@Awake_wl No, i would use Fullbore, projection fuse, kw/ecap with hir with adept targeting. This fusion for whatever reason doesn’t really need stability at all and feels the same
If you are on controller idk why you said this but I feel like you can use any gun aim assist is in the game for a reason lol

Have loved running my adept rufus or hawk moon with my compass rose personally.
Hawkmoon is my main right now personally, I feel it’s just so good in this meta

@@derrickransom7033 I’ve been running moving target. I recently switched to hunter so I have 10 mobility and lowered my deadzones on left stick so I’ve been messing around with moving target to get all the strafe speed. Can actually peek shot almost as well as mnk so I’ve been liking it

Igneous doesn’t need p/i bro lol handcannons got fixed so it’s not necessary, we can three tap without it now last i used it. It’s not a bad choice even without precis/inst.
Nah they only fixed the 140s. For most resils you do need it to be able to 2h 1b otherwise you have to hit 3 hs. Obviously still possible but with flinch and all that I think it’s not even worth using without it. That’s also why you don’t see any other 120s and all anymore like you used to

@@haydenbell1758 they used to always be 2 headshot 1 body. Now they are 3 head only unless you have precision instrument

The Immortal is still a good Smg these days and if not the Immortal, the maybe multimach but Bungie destroyed this thing and if u have Tarrabah and if u are good with it, then go for it
Igneous with celerity is flat out better than precision instrument, then again, not everyone will have that roll

@@benjaminavila1026 celerity is still good, it’s more that precision instrument is just way better. It lets you 2 head 1 body like you used to. Without it you have to hit 3 headshots. It’s also very good in this healing/OS meta once the void titans come back

I don’t think igneous is even a top weapon anymore. I love the gun but using it now 140s dominate the mid range and I end up having to duel high impact pulses all day. I started running my Elsie’s because of it even tho I have more fun with 120 hand cannons but yeah I can see why lol.

@@Awake_wl do you think it has to have PI? I have an encore PI adept one and it’s perfect rolled but I switched back to my Rapid Hit Eye of the storm one and just been having more success. I know PI is more forgiving but I find rapid hit eye of the storm way easier to land head shots just feels like I can’t miss the head with that one so I dunno lol it’s a toss up.
@@scottparrott5674 to me it’s like an S tier weapon with it and then like a B tier weapon without precision instrument. 120s were my favorite weapon but now I don’t think they’re even worth using without PI unfortunately

@@Awake_wl Hey Awake just one more question, I value your opinion as a high level controller player. For igneous how much stability do you think is fine or on 120s in general? And the new igneous 95 recoil pulls to the left a bit does that bother you at all? Could use a counter balance stock it makes it more vertical but if high level players just use it at 95 with the slight left kick then il just get used to it. Thanks.

It’s actually the number one special weapon every weekend outside of conditional in trials. So statistically people are using and doing very well👍

It’s legit NOT the best in slot at all, & anyone using it atm is wasting their time with it. Legit have a Matador with 93 range, Opening shot & Perpmotion. (TD) better but I’ve been using it for forever now. & I’m telling ya it’s whiffing hard atm & it’s DEFF not the best to use

You know what also should be part of the Meta using your brain play tactical and strategize! If you only rely on your tools you're just a fucking tool 😂. This is true for PVE content as well example if you're doing a GM you should not rush a champion; you should stun the champion then attack. Seriously don't waste your super on an unstunned champion don't be an idiot just because you watch 1 video on UA-cam you think you're a fucking God😂 Yes I know that there are certain abilities and a super that can stun a champion but I've seen people use abilities and a super on an unstunned champion that doesn't even stun them😂. Really reminds me of division 2 when they first introduced legendary mode for the open world how players would mimic other builds from twitch streamers but they wouldn't play smart and they wonder why they constantly died every 2 seconds😂
