My first beer was when I was twelve. About six months before my dad died, he bought four 40’s of Budweiser. He let me have one while he was drinking his. One of my fondest memories and so glad I got to share a beer with my daddy before he passed away. I wish I could now, and I’m glad he let me have that or I wouldn’t have ever had the chance. My first legal beer was a six pack of Elysian Star Dust IPA.
Great video guys!! I don't remember my first beer but I remember the first time I got drunk at 14 yrs old with a buddy on Southern Comfort. I fell down the stairs and woke the parents up. Ahhhh....good times...lol.
My first beer on my 18th birthday was a Budweiser. Me and friends really got inspired by you guys to try all sorts of different beers instead of sticking to what we knew was good
Great video, first beer i ever tasted was my dad's Pabst. I cant remember the first legal beer i ever bought. I was buying and drinking beer long before i was old enough legally, Cheers!
Nowadays, I only buy light beer (Busch Light and Labatt Blue Light in particular). I bought my first beer in 2013, it was a 24 ouncer of Milwaukee's Best Ice... In stark contrast to all that, I got myself a taste for hoppy beers (IPAs especially) because growing up my dad mostly drank craft beer.
my first taste of beer was Killian’s Irish Red at abt 9 from my pops weirdly enough haven’t tried it since first pack I bought on my 21st was Budweiser and drink quite a good amount and made me start loving beer which has since developed
Lol i get my alcohol from my local liquor store because i know the owner but I'm yet to have a "legal" beer haha a few more months though and I'll be fine.
I'm live in Canada and the legal age is 19. Anyway, the first beer I ever bought was Moosehead Lager. I bought it because I liked the Moosehead logo it had lol!
My first legal beer purchase was a 12 pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon. Me and my best friend at the time went fishing, he brought a 5th of southern comfort. What I remember of that night was great lmao. But the puking the next morning sucked lol.
My first legal drink was a double can of Budweiser. I still like it sometimes too. My first alcoholic drink ever was a couple years before that at a party. It was a vodka cranberry
My first was a Michelob when I asked my dad what beer tasted like. I loved the bubbles, didn't like the taste. My first legal beer was my 21st birthday, a friend bought me a Saranac starter pack, I tried an IPA and was horrified that maybe I just don't like beer, turned out I just don't like IPAs. First beer I bought, I went to a local college bar and asked for something not shitty, I got a Newcastle Brown Ale, I liked that and was relieved that I might like beer after all.
I think I just bought some random no-name Radler(50/50 sprite/pilsener) and Pilseners on my 16th birthday. Before that I bought some Desperados, Veltins Mix and some no-names though and I really liked Wheatbeer. That I bought from people not checking for age, friends and family. I somehow did like the no-names back then but they taste awful to me now. Veltins is my go-to beer now.
Either 12 pack of 211 which was nothing new from my illegal days but if it wasn't it was yuengling lager or coors but after I turned 21 while living in PA yuengling was pretty much my go to from there on till I moved again. I do know whatever it was it was complimented by Hennessey, it may have been colors one of those 3 and some Henny.
It was over 6 years ago. I'd work the 7am to 6pm shift weekdays at that time. It was either a 24oz Corona Extra or a King Cobra 40oz or maybe Miller high life or Miller 64.
The first beer that I personally bought was Anchor Steam. I'm from San Francisco, so it was the obvious choice, picking up a 6 pack of the local stuff.
I have 3 beer stories. First 21 year old legal beer in the u.s. was a locally brewed irish stout, but the first beer I openly had was when I was 18 in Canada and that was a bud light. But my true first beer was the one I shared with my dad at 19 was shiner bock.
My first "legal" beer (I wasn't 21 at the time, but I was overseas so it was legal there) was Budweiser. It tasted terrible to me, and I've actually never had beer ever since. My first legal alcohol purchase was Fireball, and I really liked it. From there I had a temporary rum phase, and now I'm settled into a Kentucky straight bourbon mindset. The good news is that I live about 30 minutes from Kentucky, so bourbon also comes fairly cheap here.
My first beer was in the 6th grade and it was keystone lite,, I never could stand beer till I got this last 6 pack which is my new favorite beer which is guinness draught
I wasn't big into beer when I was 21, so on my 21st birthday I bought a tall boy of Twisted Tea. Once I started liking beer, I think my first purchase was a 6 pack Samuel Adams Octoberfest.
Rather than first beer I'll mention the first 4 since I tried them all in the same week: 1. Newcastle Brown Ale (thought the packaging was cool and knew absolutely nothing about beer at the time) 2. Blue Moon (first beer that I liked but wish it was sweeter) 3. Leinenkugels Oktoberfest (little spicy but I liked it) 4. Corona Extra (like other beginners I think the commercials sucked me in; wasn't skunked or anything but it didn't really make an impression on me. I remember thinking that maybe I need to be on a beach with half naked girls or something.
+Jeff Allenbrand while Heineken was my first beer which I regret, I ended up getting really into Michelob amberbock. Even had it at my wedding at the bar.
My first legal liquor purchase was Aristocrat Tequilla, a 750ml bottle. Please God nobody buy that trash. My first beer was a 6 pack of Guinness tall boys.
I’m a little late to the party, but the first beer I bought was Bud Ice, and I bought it the day I turned 21. I had had it in years past and I liked it, but now I’m big on Coors Banquet and Budweiser.
My first legal beer was a Colt 45 blast. Thought it'd be good like that Seagram's fruit flavored shit I been drinking way before I was 21 lol. Yeah, that Colt 45 blast was not what I expected. Shit was horrible! I don't even think I finished it. Haven't bought one since
Colorado cool-aid. Dislegal us, we had a guy who was 18, we were 16 going on 17, we all went to the same high school. We'd go drinking with him after everyone pitched in money for a case or two of canned cold Coors. Oh wait. Legal beer. Coors. Don't drink that anymore.
first ever legal beer was Near Beer lol... Crap gave me a headache though. I wouldn't think that miller ponies would be legal for me considering i was probably 10 years old and was hid in a tree drinking them.. You guys are in Louisville? Heck, didn't know that! I am from Portland. I just live about 35-40 mins southwest of Louisville now. Pretty cool.
Special K maybe the advertisment or the bottle looked nice i remember getting some to try cause it looked good and ive seen ads on tv and ive heard people talk about it all the time and when i took my first sip regreted buying it just not my taste preference

+72johnblack I hear you, when I was "younger" I drank an unhealthy amount of heaven hill bourbon and vodka. Lol
My first beer on my 18th birthday was a Budweiser. Me and friends really got inspired by you guys to try all sorts of different beers instead of sticking to what we knew was good
Man I wish I could remember the first beer I bought on my 21st 😆Weihenstephaner Vitus is the greatest of all time in my book though 👊
First legal beer was a Miller Lite on draft at a theme park, a few days ago too
Yuengling traditional lager, last week. 1st time I ever tried it and couldn't be more pleased with the price
Good choice!
That was mine as well lol also the first time I got blackout and lost interest for beer but I’m slowly working my way back to drinking beer again
First - Molson Canadian from grandparents' cellar, which they only kept for guests.
Legal - Labatt Blue probably.
God bless you boys, love your show
Great video, first beer i ever tasted was my dad's Pabst. I cant remember the first legal beer i ever bought. I was buying and drinking beer long before i was old enough legally, Cheers!
+Brian Shawkey lol us too. Our job is weird about stuff like that so we played it safe by saying your first legal beer.
Special K it's all about Mickey's malt liquor
Nowadays, I only buy light beer (Busch Light and Labatt Blue Light in particular). I bought my first beer in 2013, it was a 24 ouncer of Milwaukee's Best Ice... In stark contrast to all that, I got myself a taste for hoppy beers (IPAs especially) because growing up my dad mostly drank craft beer.

My first legal beer purchase was not one that I'd never had beforehand. *Mickeys,* and I still enjoy it to this day. Cheers gentlemen!
I haven't been able to get a good moosehead, we have bought it and tried to review it over 4 times now. It's always skunked.
My first legal beer purchase was a 12 pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon. Me and my best friend at the time went fishing, he brought a 5th of southern comfort. What I remember of that night was great lmao. But the puking the next morning sucked lol.

the local scene in KY was terrible in 2008, its since then been booming!
I have 3 beer stories. First 21 year old legal beer in the u.s. was a locally brewed irish stout, but the first beer I openly had was when I was 18 in Canada and that was a bud light. But my true first beer was the one I shared with my dad at 19 was shiner bock.
