Last Days of Man on Earth - 60 second vinyl radio spot #1 (1974)

LAST DAYS OF MAN ON EARTH (1974) is the title of the American cut of the UK science fiction film THE FINAL PROGRAMME (1973), directed by Robert Fuest and based upon the novel by Hawkwind associate Michael Moorcock. Originally, Moorcock wanted his hairy spacerocker pals to provide the music for the film, but Fuest opted for something more banal. Nevertheless, a genuine freak out. The US cut, released by Roger Cormon's New World Pictures, is slightly shorter and differs in a few places, so seek out THE FINAL PROGRAMME over the LAST DAYS... if the film sounds promising.
