I too am extremely curious as to how Enso will be implemented. I hope they get it right and it’s not too expensive. Also one of the highlights was seeing Avalanche painted! I know it’s not a priority for the park but they do leave rides for years without a lick of paint. Looks great! Amazing vlog, looking like it’ll be a good season, just need to get the new additions open now! Cannot wait!

When I was in the Icon station I noticed how much space there is between the speedy pass barrier and the platform edge, assuming they don't need that much space by the track for maintenance etc then if they shifted the barrier to line up with the air gates there's room to fit 2 lanes down there, 1 ENSO and 1 speedy/easy pass.
As you say, an excellent but freezing cold opening day, glad to be back!
Definitely need to check this out next time I’m in there

unfortunately i couldn’t make it to opening day but i will be going to the first 10pm close of the season in april and i’m so exited, but this was a great vlog as usual 🙂

Thank you for this update. Lovely seeing the park operational. I'll be going on the 26th March 2022. What do you think of the likelihood that Valhalla and Grand national being open by then?
I don’t think either will be open by then but I think Big One will be operational by then.

Hello Scott just watching your opening day vlog now while heading home, our 1st couple of rides was Wallace and Gromit and then River Cave's which for me i usually do a coaster straight away i also did rugrats lost river twice that day

I was able and very lucky too go around the pleasure Beach on the day before opening day to see all the different rides getting test operations as well as, the history of Blackpool it was, really good

great video guys just got home from a great weekend really enjoyed managed a ride count of 47 over the 2 days so was well happy with that . oh and as much as i agree with you on the wheel price i don't think the price will be coming down any time soon as of 5 o'clock tonight all wheels were gone !!!

In my opinion as the Macks and Thompson’s are so close maybe the whole Enzo thing is a bit of an experiment 🧐🧱👍🏼
It was very chilly! I have heard whispers it’s a joint venture which hasn’t cost BPB much at all, not sure how true that is 👀

Excellent opening day sorry for the quick hello Scott and the team but it was a brilliant day the engineering team have done an amazing job over the winter closed season i wonder if they will finish repainting the rest of the Avalanche track framework and supports 😀

Didn’t go on Ice Blast but it was open, Valhalla is being refurbished
Enjoyed the vlog PBE and was great to meet you Scott, Mark and Mike in Velvet Coaster. The River Ride Takeover was awesome too, lots of people, a great atmosphere and 2 of us even ended up accidentally in shot at 14:57 🙂

The change of seats on Streak was a surprise, not sure I like it yet. Definitely not a fan of the new ICON merch even on reflection I don’t like it.

I definitely prefer vlogs like this more than the format of tpww.I like the fact that it’s a bunch of people walking around and having a fun day out. I hope to see more vlogs at other parks like this from you and your friends as the season starts to progress. A++

Great Video Scott, it was so awesome finally getting to meet you all in person and chat yesterday, it made my day 😁, and it was also great to see Mike on the Log flume in person after watching him do it in your vlogs for many years👌.
I was talking to Mike and one of the other PBE enthusiasts whilst we were queuing for Icon(for my 2nd ride on it that day) Mike had to get off the ride though unfortunately, as I think the seatbelt wouldn't clip in for him, I said to the other enthusiast who was with us that it was such a shame Mike couldn't enjoy Icon with us.
I think £10 would be a fair price for Enso, and to also be included in speedy pass would make total sense too, I'd pay a tenner to experience it, but probably would be a once or twice a year thing for me.
When I went on the Ghost Train for my last ride of the day, I noticed that quite a lot has changed, there were some scenes that had been moved and new scenes added in their place.
I was very impressed with the operations yesterday, everything ran like clockwork, with no ride breakdowns, credit to the maintenance team at BPB, they've done an amazing job in such little time.
And I'm with you about being cold and wet but not caring, I had the best day, made even better by getting to meet you all and chat.
I'd love to get on some rides with you all sometime, that would be amazing 😁🎢
Once again, thanks so much to you all for the memories I made yesterday and the photos, I had so much fun and such a laugh.

The “new" big one range isn’t new at all. Maybe in the park, but I’ve had the exact same image as a picture in my house for years and it actually says Blackpool on it, not the big one. I’d guess that the park has bought that image and have just made their own merch from it which surprised me. Great vlog, and the flume takeover was great as ever 💦 👏

I really respect the honesty, £80 is a complete rip off for something that easily could be in a skip. 30-50 is ok, bare in mind it’s rubbish to them
Honesty is always the best way, others may spend that money but I can’t justify it sadly

£6.22 for that BK meal was atrocious 😱 the trouble is with a double cheese burger meal and a few farty chips, it doesn't even fill you up.

I’m shocked and surprised to say they did end up shifting them, interested to see how they’d do at those prices on a non-enthusiast weekend though. The BK meal was grim.

Still disappointed with the catering and the fact they still don't accept cash on the park. I decided to go to McDonald's instead where I could pay cash.
I can understand why they don’t, if one them gets handed a note which has been in contact with covid then it’s going to spread fairly quickly through that team and anyone they serve.

@@yourexperienceguide I agree, it's diluting the original concept of the ride, kind of like saying the ride wasn't good enough to start with... These things rarely work out.

@@yourexperienceguide agreed, this will definitely turn away a ride on the back seat from me, I really enjoy it it’s so unique at the back seat and them changing that uniqueness ruins the whole concept, as you go up the big hill it feels like your about to leave the seat but that’s part of the experience, and as you said on a rainy day and I don’t think this would appeal to many people, I just hope they keep one train with the normal back seats, and one train with enzo and they queue separately great video as always!
