PH-AMR Automated Guided Vehicle for Autonomous Pallet Handling | Husky Technologies

At Husky Technologies, DMG MORI’s PH-AMR (formerly known as PH-AGV) automated guided vehicle enables fully autonomous loading and unloading of three DMC 160 U machining centers, which are also fully automated with tooling.
The AMR robot transports components weighing up to 4,000 kg (without pallet) from a remote warehouse to the machine and loads them directly onto the pallet changer.
While moving through the normal production environment at speeds of up to 6 km/h, the self-driving vehicle must also interact with passers-by. Safety is ensured by a laser that scans the environment in the direction of travel. If there is an obstacle in the vicinity, the automated pallet mover will slow down or stop in time. This autonomous vehicle frees up capacity for more pressing tasks, ensuring that Husky Technologies’ growing needs can continue to be met.
