Southern Women I know you was on the deans list in school you do damn good work you’re one of the best underrated channel on UA-cam you speak so well keep up the great work 🎉🎉🎉
In Amber's case the FBI needs to take over the case. Clearly there's a conflict of interest among those investigating it & those present at the dentist's house that night. With such a long list of evidence to be tested in such a small community they are either completely overwhelmed & require assistance in processing or they are stalling for whatever reason. I never realized if you are ever connected in the commission of a serious crime you can just refuse to talk to police about it they conduct their investigation. It's obvious with the multiple phone calls McKinney made prior to calling 911 regarding Amber's murder & especially the people he called & their positions within the community there is a lot more to this case & there's an opportunity to control the narrative. This is why local law enforcement has a conflict of interest & the FBI should be conducting it instead.
The FBI investigates federal crimes. They help local law enforcement if local LE asks them. They are not going to ask in this case. If some pressure was put on the state police, say the Governor asked, I believe the state police could investigate the local department, and open their own investigation of a crime. Possibly, an interdepartmental task force, and they could ask for FBI help.
All of these cases are horrible and sad, but the thing that finally made the built up tears fall was the last image of Jason's funeral where his dog was saying goodbye to his casket. Thanks for the amazing work Southern Girl ❤

In 2010 Officer Ellis was with me when I found my aunt, who had committed suicide. Every day we pass by the place where he was killed. I pray they find my friend Crystal and solve their murders and find out who killed Tommy.
Well, we all know who killed Crystal and Tommy, just waiting for justice. Poor Ms. Sherry ontop of being utterly heartbroken, she must have been absolutely terrified that they would come after her or any of her loved one's next. The Houcks family are all cold hearted monsters! I'm so happy she finally won visitation rights to see her grandbaby after almost a whole decade. It's beyond wrong and extremely sad how the courts have treated Sherry all these years. I hope Crystal's family finally recieves the long awaited answers and justice they've desperately deserved for so many years now that those three demons have been charged and arrested for her murder.

As far as Crystals dad, Tommy, he was finding out too much!! That's why HE was murdered. The only link that I can think of for the Netherlands, is maybe the daughter knew something, and the mom was colateral damage. The only other link was the mom was a special needs teacher, which Officer Ellis, had a special needs son.(not sure how that ties in though) THIS IS JUST MY OPINION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Krista Garrett has been missing from Prestonsburg, Ky since 2019! Her family has had NO HELP at all finding her. The police have done NOTHING to help find her. Her children deserve to know where their mother is! Floyd county Ky is so corrupt & so many beautiful women are missing!
You didn't hear it from me but I have a family member who is friends with Michael Mckinney. They have never released the names of the two other people at the party but according to Mckinney via my family, he fell asleep and woke up to one of those two individuals banging on his door covered in blood
#2, I think the mom found out who did it, and its a person they know well. #1, I think the dr did it and it was alcohol induced. I've never bumped into a dr at a bar...
Doctors are normal people who obviously have a life outside of their job, like they should . I’ve seen my doctor and other doctors I know at all the places other people go to. It would be weird if the didn’t 😅
Just sayin … ..”In particular, alcoholism, and medical professionals with alcoholism, are an all too common, and dangerous, combination. Studies report that at least 10 to 12 percent of healthcare professionals will develop a substance use disorder during their careers, including at least 1 in 10 physicians, and 1 in 5 nurses.”..
I think Dr McKinney is covering for himself or his son.....please make this very solvable case a priority. This is horrifying, and I guarantee alcohol is the first culprit of this tragedy. 😢
I’m glad to see you covering Kentucky but most of these cases get covered while the murder of Dianna Keeton in Lawrence County has been largely uncovered. This family deserves answers
On Jennifer...I recently saw a "copcam" clip where they arrested people for impersonating police officers. One of them was in a black truck. He had lights and different sirens. Civil clothing but a badge he even tried to flash at the officers arresting him. Could be something like that in some cases where they find a car without any sign of struggle where a person gone missing or killed. Or that they stopped to somebody pretending to need help (though perhaps not in this case if witnesses saw her arguing with somebody).
There is another woman that went missing in Ky back in July and it was weird. The law looked for her for less than 2 days and told other people not to look for her either. Theu didn't want any search parties out looking for her.
I am from the same town as Jennifer Bailey. The murder shook the town because stuff like that never happened there. They were rumors about who the murderer was. Several names had been thrown there. Nobody has ever been able to solve the crime. I know I heard that her cousin was also murdered. but I can’t remember if it was before or after the murder of Jennifer Bailey. They do however think their cases were connected.
Im from the Cincinnati area and Jason Ellis death hot the community hard. All these murders are definitely connected and lead right back to the PD. Just subbed. Love your content and delivery
Let me give you some details you didn't go over in the Bardstown murders. Nick Houck was off duty the night Jason Ellis was murdered. Jason was driving a different vehicle than his usual one that was setup for Figo because it was in the shop. So he's in a different vehicle and without Figo. Jason stayed on duty liner than usual that night because he responded to a last minute domestic violence call. He signed off duty over the radio on his way home. The tree branches placed on that exit as a distraction to ambush Jason were not indigenous to that area and were bright there from somewhere else. Jason and Figo were the drug enforcement for the Bardstown police force. Who was off duty and had access to a police radio to know Jason's movements down to the time frame needed to get those branches in place and be waiting on that embankment? I think we all know who. Crystal had made statements that she had dirt on Brooks Houk and had evidence hidden in case she needed to use it against him. Nick Houck was fired from the force for interference in the investigation into her disappearance. Evidence related to her was found in the back of his police cruiser. Tommy Ballard, Crystal's dad left no stone unturned in trying to find his daughter. He had stacks and stacks of information he would not turn over to anybody. He was shot in a field adjacent to the bluegrass parkway as he exited his pickup truck to go hunting with his grandson. Crystal's son watched his grandfather die beside him while trying to call his uncle for help. Somebody killed him in front of that child from the parkway. The cops have the gun used to kill Ballard. They bought it online from Nick Houck who was using a fake name to sell it after the murder. They're just waiting on ballistics and he's going down just like his brother. Brooks Houck is currently with another woman named Crystal whom he started seeing soon after Crystal's disappearance. She was arrested previously for going around town taking down the missing posters.
I'm glad you saw this. I wasn't sure if you would or not. These cases really get to me. I love in KY and have followed them for so long and it's so heartbreaking for these families. Especially the Ballard family. Crystal's dad had a sister who went missing in the 70s. I can't imagine what it was like for him to have his daughter go missing as well. And then he gets murdered in front of his grandson and eventful just knows this is connected to his search for justice for Crystal. But nobody could prove it. Meanwhile the Houck family goes on with their lives and unaffected. Jason Ellis was the one person who I think was smart enough to figure out all misdeeds and honest enough to not turn a blind eye or go along with it. He wanted good things for that community, and they killed him. I think Crystal may have found out what happened to Jason and other wrongdoings of the Houck family, and they killed her.
Jennifer went to the park that day to meet someone, not to go for a jog. Sam and Edward are involved with distributing drugs, amongst other things. She met up with Sam to buy something, they argued over the price, and they came to an agreement. Sam took her to an alternate location (warehouse) where she could look at the drugs, but she disagreed on the price again. She agreed to sleep with him in exchange for weed and she felt she was getting a bad deal. They argued and Edward showed up because he was supposed to meet them there. Sam saw how annoyed Jennifer was and got scared and nervous about her snitching. He snapped and hit her. She fell down and hit her head and while she was dizzy Sam strangled her while Edward watched. Edward didn't bother stopping him because Sam had a bad temper and he didn't want to be taken down too. They removed her clothes and washed her down to prevent any evidence from being collected and kept her in a freezer until they were ready to dump her. #jenniferleebailey
The special education teacher has direct ties to Houck. Look at all of the children of these people-look at what she did for a career. I'm not saying I know who killed them, I am saying it really deserves a lot of attention.
There is absolutely no reason Amber's case should be unsolved. Outside sources need to come look at this. I'm from close but I absolutely don't know these people. It just doesn't seem right.
Need to do Lois Adams from Letcher County. She was my friend’s grandmother. Murdered a few days after her grandfather passed and still unsolved and no leads. Also, disappearance of Crystal Branham Hall and Glinver Osborne (not related, just both disappearances)
For Amber's case I am confused about her mother who died in 1988: you say murdered, but the article clearly saya she died after the bar had closed and she tried to climb out the window?
The article does say that, but according to other websites, she was murdered. Here is an excerpt from the Lexington Herald-Leader, "WHO WAS AMBER SPRADLIN? Spradlin was raised by her grandparents after her own mother was murdered when she was young, Martin said. She spent much of her adult life as a caregiver to her grandparents until they died. In the months leading up to her murder, Spradlin had “just started to spread her wings,” Martin said. She’d just bought her first house, got the job at the restaurant, made friends and tried “to start a life.” www.kentucky.com/news/local/crime/article279221224.html

The only other link was the mom was a special needs teacher, which Officer Ellis, had a special needs son.(not sure how that ties in though) THIS IS JUST MY OPINION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Either way, this is HORRIFIC, and all muders (deaths) are tied together, (somehow) and the TRUTH to all these murders WILL come to light!! It's just a matter of time. JUSITCE FOR CRYSTAL, TOMMY, JASON, KATHY & SAMANTHA.... And most of all, SHERRY!!! God Bless you Sherry, We love you and we want nothing more that to get JUSTICE for Crystal & Tommy, Jason, Kathy and Samantha!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
I have followed Jason,And Crystal Roger's case.I pray theses family get Justice. I have always said Old Nick is the one who shot Jason and Tommy.I don't live far from there.
I got the notification I came too quick.
Dr. McKinney's home looks like it's in a very isolated place. I wouldn't feel safe living there You could get murdered in a place like that, and nobody would know anything about who did it
I seen Jason's story on Dateline along with the father and daughter story and the one about the mother and daughter. Scary
I graduated from Job Corps in Prestonsburg, Kentucky in August 1997! Never heard this case! 😮😮
Amber was murdered last year
@@Flair-fun-little-ai-renderings I thought she said in the 80s? 🤔 I’ll rewatch. I must’ve been distracted.
I live not far from Bardstown. We’ve always been told that the Netherlands cases are not connected to the other cases.
My current state.
🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Three were arrested and charged in connection to Amber's murder this week!
Time to settle in during some thunderstorms & watch some SGCS
#2, I think the mom found out who did it, and its a person they know well.
#1, I think the dr did it and it was alcohol induced. I've never bumped into a dr at a bar...
Doctors are normal people who obviously have a life outside of their job, like they should .
I’ve seen my doctor and other doctors I know at all the places other people go to.
It would be weird if the didn’t 😅
@@malina1239 I made a mistake in that bc he was the owner. Most people hang with people of the same caliber.
Just sayin …
..”In particular, alcoholism, and medical professionals with alcoholism, are an all too common, and dangerous, combination. Studies report that at least 10 to 12 percent of healthcare professionals will develop a substance use disorder during their careers, including at least 1 in 10 physicians, and 1 in 5 nurses.”..
Bardstown should be a ghost town pretty soon. Shady
I think Dr McKinney is covering for himself or his son.....please make this very solvable case a priority. This is horrifying, and I guarantee alcohol is the first culprit of this tragedy. 😢
I imagine Dr McKinney, is protecting his mini-me namesake.
“She was hit by an ice cream truck” 😂 sounds like a punch line
I knew about Crystal's murder and find the other aspects interesting to say the least.
Thank you SG!
The most horrible and unforgivable thing is children losing their father or mother young‼️‼️🌎🇺🇸💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💢💢💢😞😞😞😞😞
I’m glad to see you covering Kentucky but most of these cases get covered while the murder of Dianna Keeton in Lawrence County has been largely uncovered. This family deserves answers
I’ll look into it. Thank you!
@Southerngirlcrimestories can you do a series for victim awareness week this month
There is another woman that went missing in Ky back in July and it was weird. The law looked for her for less than 2 days and told other people not to look for her either. Theu didn't want any search parties out looking for her.

The third case is crazy
I am from the same town as Jennifer Bailey. The murder shook the town because stuff like that never happened there. They were rumors about who the murderer was. Several names had been thrown there. Nobody has ever been able to solve the crime. I know I heard that her cousin was also murdered. but I can’t remember if it was before or after the murder of Jennifer Bailey. They do however think their cases were connected.
No.2 my gosh what is going on there
Im from the Cincinnati area and Jason Ellis death hot the community hard. All these murders are definitely connected and lead right back to the PD. Just subbed. Love your content and delivery
Amber Spradlin Case has found justice today! 3 people was arrested!
Thank you.
@@deniseadams82 I agree.
❤️❤️❤️
We have quite a few more missing persons now. All that dirty dog food coming down from Detroit.
McKineys camera was taken down, driveway replaced,
👍👍
Dr. Needs to get that University of Kentucky shirt off. He is not worthy of it.
🎉❤
There is absolutely no reason Amber's case should be unsolved. Outside sources need to come look at this. I'm from close but I absolutely don't know these people. It just doesn't seem right.
Bardstown and Skidmore are neck and neck now for most abysmal small towns with horrible violent histories
❤❤❤
Need to do Lois Adams from Letcher County. She was my friend’s grandmother. Murdered a few days after her grandfather passed and still unsolved and no leads. Also, disappearance of Crystal Branham Hall and Glinver Osborne (not related, just both disappearances)
Crystal and Glinver are both from Pike Co btw
Thank you
GREAT JOB S.G.SUNSHINE !! HAVE YOU EVER DONE ANY FROM LAS CRUCES NEW MEXICO OR DOWN SOUTH OF OREGON ( PHOENIX OREGON ) THANK YOU !!
I have covered Las Cruses cases. Main one I recall is from a New Mexico video I did a while back
@@SouthernGirlCrimeStories OK GONNA LOOK FOR IT ! THANKS !
