When you take the tie rod end off (rack end) you have to hit what it sits in and it’ll crack the tie rod end and it’ll drop other wise you won’t get the tie rod end out
Im a noob and wanted to do this exact thing myself... after watching your video I might just pay for someone to do it coz I might fk it up lol - Great video bro.
hey there, cool vids man! quick question, does the colorado kit ask for a "bump stop spacer" to be installed? the kit for my ranger asks for one that's included..., but its not actually included.... have you had any issues with the extra shocky compression on the fronts? Reality is that the spring and shocky will compress more than it did before hitting the bump stops if they aren't extended as the spacer moves the lower control arm further away from the stop on the chassis..... or am i missing something? also how'd you go with your wheel alignment after install? much adjustment left? new adjustable upper control arms needed? cheers mate
Hey mate, nah I didn’t have to touch any bump stops, what you saw in the video is all I done. I believe you concept is correct also but I haven’t had any issue with the setup. Alignment has also been fine but I will be installing adjustable upper control arms down the track, probably when I swap it all out for a proper lift

Nice truck! Also easy instalation.
Next time you should undo the upper control arm and top and bottom of shock this work with a spring compresser

Wow super awesome bro.
Would it work putting 2 or 3 wheel spacers together for one side or no???
Would it work if I had air suspension on the rear
Hey mate, how’s it holding up now ?
yeah mate still going good. 100% rate it if your not ready for a proper lift
hey mate did you have to extend the handbreak cable
Nah the kit comes with handbrake cable spacers to install
How’s the easy lift kit treating you now?! 8 months down the track.
Still top notch, can’t fault it for such a cheap kit
Do u still have the ve commodore??
nah that's gone a while ago
Really sad, cos you suited the commodore and it was a nice done up car :(
