What is important is that I observe my breath even during my normal activities like reading, when traveling, on mobile, sitting in the park etc for a few secs or minutes with eyes open or closed. Its common during spiritual awakening. The dark knight of the soul before you awaken. I had same in other form of sleep meditation. And also we need to practice vegetarianism . I belived its because of karmic debt.

Anapanassati bhavana helps you to prevent from turmoils, to calm and settle the water so you can see your face on the water, and know who you are. Once you are mastered in anapanassati then you move on next level like you pass the primary school and get admission to a high school. You don’t attend primary school all of your life. You need a good teacher to take you to the high school, one day you will be master or doctorate if you persuading your dreams

But i am saying that one must be meditative and meditate more and more to the point that you must be aware 24*7. This is the only way to enlightenment. Research about the adverse effects of mindfulness meditation brother, there is truth to what he's explaining. Adverse effects are found in some people who did it for longer durations or day long or in retreats. But it's safe if you do it for 10-20 minutes.
