There's a shortcut in Big Boulder Alley to help you get to the east side of the level more easily. Follow these steps. 1. As always, superhop over the beetles. 2. Head north, but do not go to the large beetle part. Instead go to West Boulder Mountain. 3. Head north watching for boulders until you get north of the cactus and hop right. You are now in the east side of the level!
I remember I had this game at my grandparents house. I would sit in my grandpa's lap and play this. I could never get passed the skiing level but that's where my cousin came in. He beat the whole game.
this is THE best PC game i bought around its time, Awesome music, Awesome levels, Awesome Multiplayer, Awesome game, low replay value wen u get all gold frogs. Highly reccomended 9/10
I still have this game. Big Boulder Alley and Boulder Alley are the two hardest levels in the entire game. Honey Bee Hollow and Uncanny Crusher are 2 levels I also tend to Game Over on.
It's still there, it's just under the CD player sound instead of WAV, simply because 90's sound cards couldn't play two WAV/MP3 files simultaneously. You should still have wiring on your sound card for that.
@YoAmorEspana he is right becuase if you have xp or higher the music wont play but you can get some of the music if you play it like a music disc. SOME not all.
Geez the level after Boulder Alley is HELL X__X I remember being stuck at that one for ages and I could never finish the game... was so frustrating when I was a kid >_
in the regular boulder alley, on the PC version, I always got 75 seconds of time. for the first 2 weeks when I was on boulder alley, I always couldn't figure out where to go. I could only get 3 of the frogs on the level.
I always do it the harder way (in either version) and even in the PSX version, I can make it to the green frog without ever seeing the countdown. You just have to go really fast and take some risks here and there. I just don't like shortcuts - I feel like I'm cheating. I'll post a video of this eventually once I get FRAPS.
I still, to this day, have dreams about this game. Absolutely fantastic game, one of my all time favorites.

Lots of skill my friend....i remember it took me half a day to actually finish some of these stages xD
Insane game. Love it, still play it, miss the old days where friends talked about this. Now it's utterly extinct. Thank god for UA-cam.
I personally like the song that plays in Cactus Point, Crumbled Point, and Tumbling Valley. It's probably the most catchiest song I've heard.
haven't played frogger in so long, stil have my original release date copy, gonna have to play that soon
OH GOD THIS ZONE....

The cactus zone was the one I never got past because of the falling blouders...

@atrocity3010
the music is the main reason I'm watching it XP
Ugh I hate those beetles, they always get me
NickBush24's walkthrough for Big Boulder Alley does it the hard way (beetles and vultures).

It wasn't even that, it was a hardware limitation.

I used to be scared to do anything on Tumbling Valley...until I found there's one safe spot in the middle of the board.
i always wondered why did the frogs explode when you collected them?
FROGGER;The green frog. Why can't I get the blue one first?
When do you post the last level video?
I always hated those f***ing beetles.
